Ruling Questions
I have a question with regards Phyrexian Mana...
All of the colored mana requires either a mana of that color or 2 life to pay.
What I want to know is if the colorless Phyrexian mana requires the mana you get from wastes, Mana rocks, and most nonbasic lands or if it's treated as a generic cost with the option to pay 2 life.
If it is treated as generic, why? We have colored phyrexian that needs color or life why would the colorless Phyrexian mana be able to accept all types instead of specifically colorless?

It doesn't take purely colourless because that'd be incredibly parasitic, as well as the idea of things actually requiring colorless mana didn't get really established until 4-5 years later after phyrexian mana was created and used.
