Jujutsu [Cost] ([Cost] : Remove target creature blocking or blocked by this creature from combat.)
Refresh by Dramon
Refresh N - [Cost] ([Cost]: If this creature doesn't have N or more refresh counters on it, put a +1/+1 counter and a refresh counter on it.)
Reminisce by JaceNalaar
Reminisce [Cost] ([Cost], {t} : Return a card with casting cost "casting cost" from your graveyard to your hand.)
Insidious N by Tomigon
Insidious N - [Cost] ([Cost], Exile another card with converted mana cost N from your graveyard: You may cast this card from your graveyard until end of turn.)
Fire breathing by michaelmvm
Fire breathing [Cost] ([Cost] : this creature gets +1/+0 until end if turn.)
AUTHOR'S NOTE : (Red mechanic)
Roost by gummyboys
Roost [Cost] ([Cost] : If this creature has flying, it loses flying until your next turn).
AUTHOR'S NOTE : Cards with roost usually have an ability that does something when they are roosted, like Roost G1, as long as this creature is roosted it has trample.
Inevitable by ImBadAtBalancing
Inevitable [Cost] ([Cost], Exile this card from your hand: During your next turn, you may cast this card from exile without paying its mana cost and as though it had flash. Inevitable only as a sorcery.)
Subvert by Faiths_Guide
Subvert [Cost] ([Cost]: Target blocked or blocking creature deals no combat damage this turn.)
Suit up by Faiths_Guide
Suit up [Cost] ([Cost]: attach target equipment to this creature.)
Earthquake by Drigglesnork
Earthquake N - [Cost] ([Cost]: This creature deals N damage to each creature. Each creature dealt damage this way can't attack this turn. Activate this ability only once each turn.)
Predation by Bellycuss
Predation [Cost] ([Cost], {t}: This creature deals damage equal to its power to target creature. Activate this ability only during your declare attackers step.)
Dissipate N by Damnation
Dissipate N - [Cost] ([Cost]: The next time this permanent would be put into a graveyard from the battlefield this turn, instead exile it, then it deals N damage to target creature or player.)
Jujutsu is not a blink effect cause you don't exile the creature, you simply remove it from combat, similar to how regenerate works. You just remove it from combat
I think Predation would be better worded as:
Predation [Cost] ([Cost], {t}: This creature deals damage equal to its power to target creature. Activate this ability only during your declare attackers step.)
Anyway, here's my entry. Glad to see Mechanix challenges finally coming back!
@connor2001- we always encourage creative ways to look at the mechanics and don't mark you down for making changes, as long as the feel of the mechanic is still there!
@Beydin13 - @RohanDragoon is right. It's just removed from combat. If it attacked, it remains tapped... but either way, it neither deals nor receives damage.
A feel that this is possibly one of the most powerful things you can do with predation. Maybe a tad obvious, but simplicity isn't always bad.
Did I phrase this right?
Isn't this art amazing?
@Corwinnn Connor2001's version is correct. Activated ability always has colon in its text.
Also Dissipate is worded as triggered ability as well.. If you want to make it activated, my suggestion is
Dissipate N - [Cost] ([Cost]: The next time this permanent would be put into a graveyard from the battlefield this turn, instead exile it, then it deals N damage to target creature or player.)
Wanted to make a card with shapeshifting properties and realised it wasn't a creature mechanic but a general one, found the amazing art, and poof...
For a mechanic that does such a simple thing, you'd think it would have a low activation cost. I wanted to change that.

Using subvert.
Dissipate.

Note he comes back EVERY TIME!
Inevitable [Cost] (Rather than cast this card from your hand, you may pay [Cost] and exile it. During your next turn, you may cast this card from exile without paying its mana cost and as though it had flash.)
Here's my second entry:
