A lone wizard sighed as he sifted through the dusty tomes of the Citadel's ancient library, respecting the old leatherbound books as if they were his tutors and gently touching each gold-plated back of those tomes as if they were his own children. The war was something he could not and would not understand. Judges, warlords, demons and denizens of darkness, they were all but fleeting specs in the city's ancient and rich history. However, little did he know that in the end, all, including himself seemed to seek the very same thing: Power. Each had their own way, some sought it in blood, he sought it in books...
  • Judging in a week.

This contest has been a bit of a train wreck to be honest. Hopefully the next worldbuilder (if there is one) will be a bit better.
  • @KJMartin
You just need to have a few users dedicated to keeping the contest flowing. As such, I'd recommend you to make those plans with a couple users for the future.

Although that feedback applies to all contests/challenges.

I think it was partly due to how the map itself, and overall storyline wasn't that good.
If there is a next contest though I will definenetely specify how I want short descriptions, not massive long paragraphs.
  • @KJMartin
That's fair. Although, I'll admit finding the right maps is difficult.
  • @modnation675
Next time I'm going to try and get one of some kind of a forest.
  • @KJMartin
    How about steampunk?
  • @sanjaya666
I don't know, that would be pretty hard to make cards for, and wouldn't really fit in the MTG universe.

Still, sounds like a decent idea.

    @KJMartin
Forest is overused. The new block is even located in a tropical rainforest, duh. Most of it at least.
  • @KJMartin mirrodin, kaladesh, I think steampunk may actually work nicely xD

History and culture are determined by the victors and the victors are determined by those whom control influence over power. Though the Citadel very rarely partake in politics or war in general, they know that despite its insignificance to them, it could very well determine the fate of the Praag itself.
  • Last day for entries!
  • bump! C'mon, lets get some last minute entries in guys and gals!
  • Okay, contest is now closed.
