@Faiths_Guide The formal rule is that contestants are only allowed to bring what they can carry and essentials. (it is not written in stone though as exceptions may be made.)
So Misha is technically not allowed to bring any assembly-workers with him into the arena.
However there is nothing stated against use of belongings smuggled into the arena the night before. *wink *wink
  • @Monokuma15 first "Friends" now this
  • The stadium wasnt announced the night before mind you
  • Yeah fro there's gonna be automatons if she's a genius she can prob persuade the guards.
  • But I am fine with it just as long as it isnt like 500 automatons
  • ( @Jonteman93, will Mishra's allies be able to overrule that? If not, Mishra could mobilize his conveyance and bring components for at least four Assembly-Workers in with him on it. After all, that is my characters only strength, in this first iteration, so he should be able to make constructs...)

  • like ten or something is cool and all or twenty, just not too many
  • Four is fine with me, lol
  • @Faiths_Guide do you want one of us to do some friendly dialogue before the fight?
  • Nothing but hopefully its just like 2 or 4 automatons and not like 50
  • ( For time reasons, I'm going to assume @Gelectrode's R5-T4 makes some demeaning comment about the misappropriation of his bodily appendage upon reaching Mishra. )
  • Probably @Faiths_Guide its a possibility
  • yea lol...I am about to go get hours for NHS, so I wont be on for a while

( @Monokuma15 ten tops. Mishra merchant allies have already promised and sworn to get his Assembly-Workers in with him, we'll see how that goes. A cripple is going to need to be able to use his abilities to stand any chance, otherwise he would never have been invited to the tournament at all. )
  • National Honors Society it looks really good on my transcript when applying to college

    @DoctorFro @Monokuma15
(This may not be my thread, so it all comes down to OP, but the lack of post editing for additional thoughts as well as one word posts is a bit fatiguing to go through. Would you mind being a bit more careful on that, please?)

(EDIT: The random off topic stuff is also a bit much, but understandable in most cases, such as the NHS one.)
  • @Faiths_Guide touche if he couldn't it would be 1 sided
  • what am I doing wrong @Luijkul?
  • What I am so confused at what you just said "15",
    and Lujikul, okay
  • ( If anyone has missed comments I've made with regard to Mishra in this thread, I've compiled them in his comment section here: https://mtgcardsmith.com/view/mishra-crippled-genius )
  • @Faiths_Guide In mishra's condition. The administration have allowed him to bring the materials he think he needs as the assembly work seems to take some time (3 mana).
The only assembly worker Mishra is allowed to bring is his personal assistant.

But remember what i mentionend earlier, the odds of winning lies in card quality and character traits + lore etc. How the match is prepared is of very minor effect.
For example, if Mishra brought 500 assembly workers it would not make him invincible. It change the result to a minor degree. What it does in a major degree though is how the fight is fought/written.

  • As he looked at the foreign construct, Mishra made a few observations that he committed to memory before responding to its accusation. He answered with absolute honesty (as he knew to be wise when debating automatons).

"No. I've never had possession of any of your appendages past or present, but I wish you all the best in locating it. Which appendage did you misplace, and who, if I may ask, told you to come to me about it? Did your programming form that conclusion on its own?"

Mishra spoke the truth, as far as he knew, but he was only mostly correct. Unbeknownst to him, one of his lofty merchant allies, in an effort to place himself in higher standing with the mastermind, had smuggled the appendage away after R5-T4's battle and had it delivered via Bomat Courier. The package hadn't been specially marked, so as not to draw attention, but it contained a note so as to receive credit due. As noted previously, Mishra found these nobles a bore, especially as it relates to commerce, and had yet to open any package delivered from them.

It would seem that the metallic member was in a pile of mercantile memorandums. No man, or machine, the wiser.

(Thanks for clarification, @Jonteman93. I get pieces and one assistant. Perfect. Counting the assistant I should be able to create 5 or so. Keep in mind that they are helpful in assembling each other and boost each other in combat. Also to note, Mishra's conveyance--wheelchair if you will--isn't wholly benign.)
  • Oh, would @Jonteman93 would you say I have enough lore...I don’t expect you to read through unless you have been
  • Wonder whos gonna win this tourny
  • So is the winner still going to host next tournament?
  • @DoctorFro Enough lore? *looks at page numbers, 12...
About the question, it is like i wrote to Tenebris. More than one section of lore/background + some character traits is everything that is needed. anything additional is just glaze on the cake. It won't add much to the score.

Later when the quarter finals are i would like some extra character devlopment but that's then.
