Mechanic Synergy Contest **Circuit Challenge**
The Time Spiral Block had plenty of fun ideas, notably colorshifted cards such as Damnation and futureshifted cards such as Arcanum Wings.
But best of all, there was a single card in Future Sight:
A combination of Convoke and Buyback let an innocent little common become one of my favorite designs in Magic's history, simply because two abilities were put together that would never have been combined otherwise.
And that is this challenge: Take two non-evergreen mechanics that already exist but have never been printed on one card (ignoring Un-sets and Time Spiral Block), and create a card that uses both of those abilities and is a one-card synergy because of it.
For some other examples:
Criteria: Presentation, art selection, templating, spelling, balance, creativity and flavor
Rules:
All card types are allowed
Maximum of 3 entries
You may edit or switch cards before the deadline as much as you want
No cards from before February 1st, 2018
Credit the artist if possible
Deadline in 2 weeks: February 22, 2018
This is also a Circuit Challenge!
Rewards:
1st Place: 3 Favorites of your choice and 1 Circuit Point
2nd Pace: 2 Favorites of your choice and 3/4 Circuit Point
3rd Place: 1 Favorites of your choice and 1/2 Circuit Point
Honorable Mentions: 1/4 Circuit Point

First thing that popped into my head!
Can I ask you a question? Does the card need to actually have both mechanics on it, or could it contain one mechanic and reference another. For example, a card with Madness that mentions Cycling but doesn't actually cycle itself, or a creature with Exalted that cares about you paying entwine costs.

(The idea here is that without a material, or artifact, to study, the lab can't investigate anything. Once that's done, they make steady progress. Soon, when they've made enough headway and developed some exciting new materials, the lab receives some nice funding, so research costs can be ignored. If not managed carefully, the funds dry out, and the lab has to grind it out once again until the funding returns. The card is white, and not blue, because materials research is largely done for the good of humanity as opposed to satisfying one's curiosity, and that's what made it white for me.)
