  @KalamMekhar "Leyline of Stasis: This is mono-white; there is no need of blue there. Also, it is a bit troubling to have this shut down planeswalkers completely. Note how Wizards avoided that wording on Solemnity. Additionally, you can play this with Dark Depths for free wins, so I think it should just limit itself to creatures, artifacts and enchantments. Also, I'd have liked it more if it included players as well."
  
  
  I made it blue because the stasis/ice theme felt it should be blue for thematic reasons. Wrecking planeswalkers was very much the intent of the card. I don't care for them. I feel they were a mistake, and thematically clash with the game itself. It's supposed be a duel between two wizards, It would be like if there was a MMA fight and you have your friend come along, and occasionally throw rocks at me and try trip me while I am trying fight you. Completely goes against the spirit of the contest. I started playing long before they existed, and find there simply isn't enough cards to wreck them as there are toward everything else in the game. Why most of my hate cards effect them. I rarely put them in my decks, as I tend favor creatures for my decks. I tolerate their existence, but I really wish Wizards would continue make cards they take them out. If we can have cards like humility or day of judgment hose all the creatures on boards, there's room for cards that stop walkers dead in their tracks.

  @Lastjustice: my judgment of this contest appears to have left you unsatisfied. That was not my intention, and I am sorry. I did mention that Leyline of Stasis was one of the designs I considered to be very good, just that I found it a bit too effective at what it does, coupled with the fact that it has unintentional combo potential with a few things (no one likes a turn 1 Marit Lage) and has the potential to be free, all of this while being an enchantment (one of the more hard to remove permanents). Hate cards should maintain checks and balances on the format, but should do so by being clean, mana-efficient answers and hosers, and not by making an entire subset of cards unviable (no one is a fan of Goblin Chainwhirler for this reason). Planeswalkers do have a right to exist: they are among the most exciting cards for new players, and we should not snatch that excitement away. Rather, we need more answers to them, more Heroes Downfalls and Dreadbores and Pithing Needles. I do get where you're coming from, though. Sorry if my contest has disappointed you.

  @KalamMekhar. No your contest and Judgment are fine. If I was disappointed I wouldn't have been the one bumping multiple times. I just have a very different outlook than you on several subjects. (I am fan of chainwhirler, my dinosaurs love them.) There's a point when a card does its good alittle too well, but we haven't gone remotely close to that when comes to Walker hate.

  I was inspired make a card like Aura shards to kill planeswalkers after I thought nothing wrecks planeswalkers on the level Aura shards does for Enchantments and Artifacts.

  @Lastjustice: very interesting! I might even make it black white, since black gets rid of walkers and white gets rid of tapped creatures.

  I originally was just going make Aura Shards(Artifacts/enchantments)+Planewalkers as targets, why I went jund. I changed my mind afterwards. I felt lets do something a bit different. I thought it has be condition creature removal or it would be too brutal. So went with tapped. (Edit it's mardu colors now. The art looks like it should have red in it.)
