Kingdom Challenge, Create a New Role Card
First, let me explain the rules of Kingdom. Kingdom is a variant of magic where each player is given a 'role' card at random, and where the win conditions of normal magic are rejected in favour of the win condition specified on your role card that is given to you at the beginning of the game.
In Kingdoms, all role cards remain face-down unless otherwise specified on the card, so cards that say 'you win the game' no longer function.
The classic role cards are the King, Knight, Bandit, Assassin, and Usurper and it plays out similarly to the game Bang!.
The King role is face up and the Knight wants to protect the king, as he can win with the king (or the king can win alone). The Bandits (2 of them) win when the King dies, so pretty much everyone else has a vested interest in keeping the King alive until they are dead. The Assassin wins by killing everyone else, and the Usurper can 'steal' people's role cards by killing them.
My friends and I have played with these cards, mainly in EDH/Commander games quite a bit, and we decided to modify the original roles a little to balance them (notably the Usurper used to only be able to steal the king's role, and the Assassin now has a powerful one-use ability to balance his difficult win condition, and the King used to start with extra life which is no longer necessary due to the usurper role change)
In addition to the above rules, the King starts the game.
These are the standard roles:
The King: http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/the-king-4?list=user#.VXV1X0L-ZW0
The Knight: http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/the-knight-1?list=user#.VXV1g0L-ZW0
The Bandit (2): http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/the-bandit?list=user#.VXV1k0L-ZW0
The Assassin: http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/the-assassin-1?list=user#.VXV1pkL-ZW0
The Usurper: http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/the-usurper?list=user#.VXV1wEL-ZW0
The game is typically played with 5 or more players:
For a 5 player game: generally we put the King, Knight and one Bandit card in a pile and select 2 more cards at random from the remaining three cards (Assassin, Usurper and the second Bandit card), then we randomise the pile (without looking to see what got left out), and deal them face down. For 6 players simply use all the cards.
The King the flips his card face up and the game begins.
A lot of the fun comes from trying to figure out who is who, as The Assassin often pretends to be The Knight, etc.
So thats kingdoms!
And Now. The Challenge:
Create a new role card to be added to the above list!
guidelines:
1. The role card must not rely on a specific deck archetype in order to function (or even a specific magic format), as decks are chosen before receiving your role card. (i.e. you should not need a life gain, voltron, mill or other specific archetype in order to win with the card)
2. The role card must state the win condition clearly, even if its just to be the last man standing (remember, all win conditions are removed in the format, so the card has to give a new one, or a way of getting one.)
3. The role card must not let a player continue to play the game if their win condition can no longer be fulfilled (i.e. the Knight loses when the King dies, as he can no longer win).
4. Keep in mind that there will always be a King, a knight, and at least one bandit, but not necessarily any of the other roles for certain.
I've had a crack, and made two additional role cards:
The Jester: http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/the-jester?list=user#.VXV44kL-ZW0
--a role that focuses on randomness and trying to lose the game instead of win it.
The Preacher: http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/the-preacher?list=user#.VXV5fEL-ZW0
--a role that hopes to make the king their b**ch.
Also, please let me know if you think I could have worded any of the above cards differently, or if I've got the mechanics wrong.

--a role that wants to convert everyone into copies of itself.
The Outlaw: http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/the-outlaw?list=user#.VXYsDEL-ZW0
--one time use Lava Axe
The Pirate: http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/the-pirate?list=user#.VXYrbEL-ZW0
--one time use Act of Treason
Note that both are still 'Bandit' role type, so other bandit cards can be made with similar one time use abilities.
Like the Assassin, revealing yourself as the bandit might not be the best idea.
I actuall thin kthis is cool and im going to play with my friends

My friends and I have taken some of your input, as well as our own to come up with a suite of new role cards.
the new rules for distributing role cards are thus:
Before the game starts, each player chooses one card form the list of cards below called 'other role cards'. These cards are shuffled together with the bandit cards.
add the king, one Knight card at random, and then cards from the pile made just previously until you have the right number of cards for players.
i.e. for a 5 player game, each player picks one of the cards below, then the king, one random knight and then 3 other cards from the pile are selected.
this allows for players to guess what roles others might have, and gives a good ratio of bandits regardless of number of players.
