  • @SteampunkDragon Thanks!! That makes my day!

    @SteampunkDragon Some good stuff going on here.

    I like how this makes a Food token that doesn't give someone life, and instead screws them over. The ability itself seems well balanced and the card, power/toughness wise, is pretty good. I would perhaps make the token she creates a legendary, lest you pop a whole bunch of Cursed Goblets on one person, and they have to either sacrifice 5 creatures and lose 10 life... All during upkeep. Other than that, it's a pretty rad card. Keep it up.

    Up next: Give one, or both, of these a Fave and/or leave feedback, then post up to two cards of your own.

  • @Revan I really like both cards but I do have constructive criticism for both
    * Lord Van - When referencing power or toughness mtg uses numeric characters (2), also the card is very very strong in multiplayer you might want to debuff it's triggered ability.
    * The Pumpkin - Just a small note I think it needs to be "up to X target lands" in the rare occasion where X is greater than the number of lands you control (plus it gives you an option to not use the ability)

    This is my card

    @Shmoohawk
    Myself am gonna give feedback and favorite your card, because it is extremely creative.

    Feedback:
    For the first ability, I'd replace it with the following alteration for balance concerns and better scaling.

    The reasoning is you get a small buff, at the cost that it permanently increases Equipment costs.

    ||Original|| --

    This spell costs {2} more to cast for each Equipment you control.

    --

    ||New|| --

    This spell costs {1} more to cast for each Equipment you control.

    Equipment you cost {1} more for you to cast.

    --

    Updating my entry with something more focused, if that's okay.

    @Murkletins The effect is very complicated; I can't see what anything on the first face does. The second face is a bit strange, with 2 custom mechanics. I don't think Selfless is a creature type either. (Also, I don't know if cards can detect what format you're playing.)

  • @KorandAngels I have already commented on your transforming card. Commented on Pnum.

    How’s this? Is it too powerful? Does this work?
  • @shadow123 - For Boneyard Ritual:

    Add {b}{b}{b} OR (as Irencrag Feat puts it) Add three {b}. Spend this mana only to cast spells from your graveyard.

    As for Boneyard Explorer, I don't think the ability works, since Adventure spells are exiled anyways once they resolve, and the creatures can be cast later from exile. I might propose something like this instead, considering Boneyard Explorer's CMC, rarity, and low p/t:

    During each of your turns, you may cast a creature card that has an Adventure from your graveyard.

    Here's mine. Post a comment on the card and/or favorite it if you like it before posting your card(s):

    @TenebrisNemo I said removing it from the game, so that the creature couldn’t be cast. Does that not work? Thanks for the feedback!

    @Faiths_Guide
    I think Surly General is a good card with a unique ability, and I can't find a single thing you should change except just a semantic correction "remove an additional loyalty counter "from it"". I fav'd it because it's super creative.

  • @Shmoohawk
    You're right, but it didn't fit as well XD
  • @Shmoohawk I like the flavor of both cards, I think it is well executed. Lunce is interesting, giving away your cards to gain life, while at the same time giving your opponent(s) creatures and spells that can't hurt you. I don't necessarily play that way, but I can see it being very powerful.

    Spiteful Thaumaturge is also interesting. Using this in combination with creature stealing spells and sacrificing is the way to go. Take a wizard, sacrifice it, do its action for FREE. intriguing concept.

    What think ye of this: give it a fave and/or feedback, then post up to two of our own.

  • @Revan, I know there has to be a way to break Oxator, but I can't think of one...yet. Also, "it" should be capitalized.

    Thoughts?

    Generally a nice card though.

    @Credius Seems like a very nice card in mono-white devotion deck.

    Also, for the second ability, do you have to choose an opponent (in a 2 vs 2 game for example) or how? Plus repeated cheap enchantment tutoring at instant speed seems broken.

    Thoughts about this card?

    The guideline states to post up to two cards for possible feedback and/or favorites.

    "Comment and/or give one or both of the above cards a favorite, then post up to two cards of your own!"
  • For some reason I’ve been skipped a lot here recently...
  • I'll fill in the blanks xD

    @shadow123
    -Quieting dream: rly can't say much besides the fact that it is a solid blue instant, though the entwine is usually on green cards, it's not a bad fit for this one.
    -Death's Nocturne: Yes...just Yes xD I like it, the versatility, the looks, it's awesome.

    @Tommyneko
    -Durga's protection: certainly befitting its mythic rare status, with a lot of positives to it. I like the variables given to it.
    -I like the custom mechanic, granting your opponents a bit of control over your actions...but just because of that, I'd lower the rating to rare rather than mythic.

  • @k4z3t5ub4k1 plz follow the rules as stated in the first post and constantly reminded to those that do not follow them. As a courtesy you should first comment or favorite the card of the cardsmith who posted before you.
  • @Credius Commented.

    My cards:

    The second one (Thundershot) uses art created by one of my friends. I didn’t put her last name on the card credit because she didn’t want me to, and I agree. I also feel like Prismatic Ascent could be too easily abused. Am I right?

    imageimage
  • @shadow123, nice job on Prismatic Ascent. What makes it prismatic?

    Thundershot should be worded as "When that creature dies this turn, you draw three cards and lose 3 life."

    Thoughts?
