@shadow123, It's interesting and well balanced, but I'm not sure I agree with it being a phoenix type. It could just be a regular bird? Or you couldve named it Frostfeather Phoenix instead if you wanted to carry through that idea...
But also, anyone have thoughts on my card? It's designed to be a jeskai spellslinger commander.

Yes, it could be mono white, but I wanted to keep it red and white, since the card still works perfectly well that way and those colors fits its flavor. There are other Magic cards that could be mono white/red (e.g. Bruse Tarl & Akiri,) yet they are not because of other design reasons.
@DrakeGladis High risk and high reward with a fitting name. Could use some work on formatting. Feels like it might not be red enough (at all)? It's basically a "you draw, they discard" enchantment. It would be played in a hard control deck with virtually no creatures using this as the finisher. It feels like this might be too strong there? Oh well, fun stuff XD

Seems like a heavily political card. I mean for example in a multiplayer game : "Hey, wanna team up? I'll let you draw dozens of cards and gain life with my Beacon of Immortality but don't attack me or yadda yadda..."
In a 1vs1 game, it's not so much of an impact because no smart person would let you gain life unless they have something like a False Cure, in which would kill you instead of gaining life lul.
Next up:
Question: Would the cascade works with alternate costs? For example if you have Omniscience and cast a Bloodbraid Elf without paying its cost?
@Fallen_Lord_Vulganos You'd definitely be okay with him basically reading "Opponent's can't gain life" in 1v1, and you'd still be able to get second ability going if you have any lifegain of your own--pretty easy to do in black.
first of all, I have no idea how you thought up the idea for using a double X mana to create tokens attached to a creature, which is something I've never seen before.
In all honesty, this is a card that looks both over and underpowered. I think what's turning me off it is that it has the X for soldiers, which is something I've never seen on a creature before. Normally, you only see creature token generation attached to an X value on instants or sorceries.

I’m trying to explore new design space in white here, but I’m not sure if this is too powerful or breaking white’s color pie.
I can't really tell. But I do like that ability. I don't think I've seen it anywhere. That could be useful.
