@dekasi, Spectral Reinforcements would better fit as a red card. While blue creates permanents copies of creatures (and white doesn't at all), red specializes in temporary tokens.
I like the idea of Landsknect and have been trying to make similar versions for a long time. One thing that I discovered is that people love to steal your stuff and eat it with a sac outlet later. For effects like these, I suggest putting a clause in the Mercenary ability about this creature can't be sacrificed while another player controls it this way.
I like it. Might be a hair undercosted for what it does, but you do have to go through some hoops to get him to work, so he's not completely broken. Solid.
@MemoryHead Thanks for the feedback! I don’t have much time right now, but when I get time, I’ll explain my thoughts behind the odd first ability. I agree with all your points though. Thanks!
@KorandAngels The images of both of them are, actually. Faiths_Guide was just collecting the two cards that Level20GnollBard had put up for evaluation into a single comment, probably for clarity's sake and to ensure that people considered both of them instead of just considering Monstrous Librarian and missing the other.
@Level20GnollBard As DomriKade commented, Bloodmane Trader could (and probably should to better fit with what the color tends to do and be) be given a 2/1 statline. It's similar to Abbot of Keral Keep, but different enough that it exists in its own little design space and is probably fine.
Horrific Librarian is an interesting take on search-punishing and would probably do its best in eternal formats, flashed in in response to fetchland activations. It seems fine in terms of balance in its current form. The main ability should be worded:
Whenever an opponent searches their library, that player loses 2 life and you gain 2 life. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Here are the next two cards. Make some sort of comment on and / or favorite one or both of them, then post up to two cards of your own.
Because the edit function was recently given a one hour time period restriction, I can't edit something new into my previous post. However, I'd be most appreciative if you were to ignore the now-deleted Cranial Fixture (it had some issues and I don't have premium, so down it goes) and instead consider this card in its place:
@KorandAngels, I like the new mutate mechanic, it seems interesting. Three mana for trample and menace doesn't seem over costed. Overall i think it's a good card.
@KorandAngels It looks like you've either rated the wrong card or that you've mentioned the wrong person. Your comment is so lacking in detail that I can't tell.
@KorandAngels I don't know, because your comment was so incredibly non-detailed and sparse that I could potentially apply it to almost any card on this thread.
Hint hint nudge nudge try and do comments that are slightly more in-depth if you can. With the one above, for example, maybe say why you think the card is underpowered or something so that the creator can better think of how they might make improve a similar concept next time. That is the main point of feedback and criticism, after all.
I assume that I am commenting on gambling with the devil, so I think it is really flavorful, and playing it can be very risky. But overall it just seems like a really over-costed wheel of fortune (Or other such wheel cards.) with a unnecessarily dangerous risk to it. I think it could be interesting in a opponent discard deck if it could target opponents.
My next two cards.
Any thoughts?
(Sorry i forgot @KorandAngels card, my bad.) Timmy seems interesting, but it seems like a hard cost to pay for a 2/1 that only makes you loot when you draw for turn.

Comment or leave a like on at least one of them then post up to two of your own.
