    @jaceberlin ; thanks for the feedback!  None of that set actually belongs in Theros, that's just the set I chose at random because I didn't have a premium account at the time I started, and now I'm too laaaaaaazy to go back and change them to a custom set icon, LOL
  • I like the idea of runes not being Sagas @The-DM, thnx!

    @jaceberlin I'm not sure if a creature planeswalker is a good idea to add to magic. They would all be way too powerful, since normal planeswalker are suppose to be representing strong characters and being in the multiverse, what are creature planeswalkers going to represent. Even MORE powerful beings. In terms of the actually card, it seems strong and a little unbalanced. Its -2 ability is too good for a 5 drop. If this was not also a creature, it would be alright in terms of balance, but because it IS also a creature, it is a little broken.

    HOW TO FIX IT: Probably by decreasing the starting loyalty by 1, and decreasing the power and toughness to a 2/4. That would be much better.

    Clockwork SentinelPotent Breath

    @joemamajoe
    Why do you have to untap an artifact for clockwork sentinel? That seems like an required upside for a positive ability. That doesn't really make sense. The card draw on it doesn't seem like it should be able to fit in decks of all colors either. I know this seems like a lot, but the idea is quite interesting and I do like the card a lot!

    Potent breath is too powerful for common. I would suggest giving all creatures -X/-X until end of turn.

  • @tookie1 I like the flavor of the card, but it looks...out of place. Sand Land could easily be rewritten as Desert Land, since that is an official land type. I guess the "colorless" mana is supposed to be Sand mana, but still, you could've just said "Pay 1 life: add 1 mana of any color." See Mana Confluence for reference.

    The spawn effect is nice, but a bit too niche since you don't really see many pentacolors these days.

    Now, here's mine. Keep in mind I'm not too used on making Planeswalkers.

  • @Scaccogaming one thing.

    That card is way too good. A 4 drop for all other white permanents you control are indestructible. That should cost at least {2} more. Other than that, the card looks cool and I like it.
  • @joemamajoe no favourite? Sorry if I sound picky, last time I checked it was a common rule. Don't feel obliged tho
  • edited June 2020
    Overall @Scaccogaming, I love the card, but she might feel a little annoying, so I suggest reworking the static. Another cool card mon ami!

    A like to the first person who guesses what the cards based off of.

    @LordTachanka123 I like the Idea, but it needs to be reworded. It should say

    "As you cast this spell, you may discard a
    card. If you do, this spell cost {2} less to
    cast.

    Enchant creature

    Enchanted creature loses all abilities and
    becomes a 0/3 artifact creature with
    defender."

    And I think its based off of the bible, when the guy's wife turns to stone while looking back at the city that was on fire when she was told not to. (I forget their names  :))

  • Welp @joemamajoe, all of that was pefect. I forgot her name too, but I am making a Bible miniset.
  • @joemamajoe
    Demonic Realities
    Tutors are always strong (especially in commander). Four manas is fair. His Hellbent I find comfortable, because if you don't have cards in your hand, taking two seems reasonable, probably for some combo as it one goes to the graveyard. Nice card.

    Kuana, Keeper of the Grove
    Energy markers broke the Standard at its time due to synergy with several cards. It alone is a comfortable and well designed card. I don't see the need to give it to the opponent either, but that left her balanced in my view.

  • @CassZero Thanks for the feedback! And that card is AWESOME! I love the cost, the flavor and the balancing. The card is phenomenal! Favorite for you, good sir.
  • @CassZero Commented. You have been making some really cool designs recently!

    My card, this is another addition to my New Design Space Set:

    @shadow123, normally I'm not a fan of centering text on wordy cards, but it looks nice on here! I'm sure converting creatures into enchantments is part of white's color pie, but is it part of black's?

    For @TheEnderDragon's contest, I'm designing a set of monocolored partner commanders with a twist. They are featuring a new mechanic called Alliance that cares about the number of times you've cast your commanders this game. To reduce complexity I'm planning on having the commanders only partner with other creatures with alliance. Thoughts?

    https://mtgcardsmith.com/view/shuldiln-the-lightsmith

  • @Temurzoa Thanks for the feedback! I think it does fit in black's color pie, or it could. As I examine theros, I feel like W/B pushes the enchantment theme more, so I decided to make this hybrid. While theros is a set all about enchantments, and black doesn't have too much enchantment support outside of it, this is also a reanimation effect too, which black definitely likes.
  • Okay, Shuldiln is just so cool, the art is lit, and I can't even begin to describe how awesome she is in these words. Here's my card:

    I really like the idea behind this card, a fixed, color-shifted Gaea's Cradle.  I'm worried that it might still be too strong and it also doesn't feel very black.  I think it might work better if you made it so you have to sacrifice a creature to untap it.  This would give it a more black feel and a more substantial downside.

    Thanks @serpentail! I honestly didn't think anyone would pick up that it was my fixed version of Gaea and Serra's lands, but I def should have changed the creature thing to something else.
    Edit: I love the card @serpentail, it's really flavorful and fun.

  • @serpentail
    Hand of the Council
    I really like it. Well-balanced. I don't see direct defects in it, just grammatical correction. The art helped a lot in the construction of the flavor, but it is the same ability as the Lieutenants of the Guard. Very nice card.
    https://scryfall.com/card/cn2/16/lieutenants-of-the-guard

    Council's Dilemma - When Hand of the Council enters the battlefield estarting with you, each player votes for strength or numbers. Put a +1/+1 counter on Hand of the Council for each strength vote and create a 1/1 white Soldier creature token for each numbers vote.

    @LordTachanka123
    Sykos, Wandering Sea
    https://mtgcardsmith.com/view/sykos-wandering-sea
    Another great idea. We need more creatures land.
    As we only have Dryad Arbor, exploration is understandable, but there are some feedbacks. I see it as something very powerful.

    Sykos, Wandering Sea  {2}{u}
    ({t}: Add {u})

    Godhood (This card can't be the target of spells, abilities, and is not destroyed by deathtouch)

    As long as you have more than 5 cards in your hand, Sykos isn't a creature.

    Whenever you play an Island, you may draw a card. If you do, discard a card.

    I hope the feedback is interesting and appropriate :)

    My card: One more test card

  • @CassZero I totally forgot about Lieutenant of the Guard lol.  That definitely makes my idea less originally though i'm glad you think it's balanced with the lower casting cost.
  • edited June 2020
    @CassZero I favorited it.

    Nice test card. I find this card probably the best fuse/split card ever made in mtgcardsmith. It is both balanced and nicely crafted. Nice work!

    Any thoughts?

  • @joemamajoe commented on both. nice creativity.

    My card:
  • @zizick123 You need to give feedback on the card before yours (in this case mine) before you post your own. That's part of the forums rules.
  • @shadow123 sorry I must have not posted my comment! But I think your card is very cool, very unique for a white card. My only critique would be on the very thing that makes it unique, is I wonder if it's ability is a little to black. And I almost wonder if it ought to cost more to cast, but who is to say. Definitely very unique and creative.
  • edited June 2020
    @zizick123 Thanks for the feedback! Since the creature itself with p/t isn’t actually returning to the battlefield, this effect fits nicely into whites color pie while still expanding into new design space and giving white more options with reanimation.
  • @zizick123
    Dragon dance is awesome, but first strike feels a little pushed. For synergy, perhaps haste?
