@crybarce94 I think the mechanic has a neat premise, but if you're playing with more than one opponent, does everyone else take damage if those other players don't pay {3}? The card only costs {3}{b}{b}, so you need to clarify the details. Some examples of some solutions I can see: Repression(Target opponent may pay {3} of this spell's cost. If they don't, this permanent does 3 damage to that player.) Repression(This permanent does 3 damage to each opponent. The first opponent to pay {3} of this spell's cost does not take this damage.) Just some suggestions! Take it for what it's worth
I was looking at https://www.mtglands.com/main-sactrilands.html, and I thought "Tri-lands? What about TRIOME lands, LOL." (Yes, I lol'd at my own joke) So I made some sac-lands based on the Ikoria Triomes, and I used the alternate showcase art for the Triomes, by Robbie Trevino, for the art. What do you guys think?
@TerryTags, I like the idea, but perhaps we should just stick with the old Triome lands. I like these, but they are way too strong for a uncommon. Two mana of two different colors for no cost is just too good. Perhaps, making it a rare and adding a 1 cost to activate the second ability would make it more balanced.
Comment on both of these or favourite both of these, then post up to two of your own:
Eager Adventurer is very powerful, mainly because if we don't go into exile, we will have endless draws. It looks very much a combo piece. Perhaps two draws will be enough. But I really liked the card.
Scarrd, Dragon Warleader The dragon I see as a well-balanced card. It would be interesting to change it at the beginning to '' Dragons you control ... ''
My card:
New World set
The set's intention is to explore the mechanics and put new forms of use (similar to Future Sight and Chaos Planar)
@CassZero, thanks for the feedback! I really like this card. It says:
Destroy target creature or planeswalker. You lose two life.
Right? Thats what it says? Ok, now for the card. Like I said, I like the card, but for people who are just learning or don't know what they are suppose to do, this card is really hard for them to understand. I barely understood it. Perhaps I keyword would be the way to go.
Hidden clues N (Show this card to an opponent as you cast it. They look for clues on this card that will help them find out what it does. If they can't find it out, tell them and it deals N damage to them.)
If you use this idea, remember to credit me for helping you out!
@joemamajoe thank you for the feedback! You might be right! I thought since those lands I posted were sacrifice lands, paying {1} might be even more powerful than how they are already designed? They are identical to the sac lands from WOTC's set from Invasion block: Ancient Spring (the Esper colors), Irrigation Ditch (the Bant colors), Tinder Farm (the Naya colors), Sulfur Vent (the Grixis colors), and Geothermal Crevice (the Jund colors).
@joemamajoe, Arcane Erasure looks fine, but it should probably be rare because of its complexity (which isn't as high as a mythic.) Scorched Budger looks pretty busted with Argentum Armor and Batterskull. Maybe equipment with converted mana cost 2 or less?
Her first ability might be worded a little differently, though. Maybe: "For each basic land type, search your library for a land with that type, put it onto the battlefield tapped, then shuffle your library". That way, even if you have a land that has multiple types (Forest Mountain Plains, for example) you can put it onto the battlefield tapped. If her ETB allowed those lands to come into play UNTAPPED, maybe you would keep the lands limited to just basic land types, but if those lands are already coming into play untapped, I think it's balanced fine to allow for those other multilands. Just a thought!
In fact, I was just about to ask for some opinions on new lands, and it looks like (even though she likes basic lands), maybe this set of lands would be good for a deck she's in. What do you think?
Each of these "Path to Alara" lands (that's a working title, at this point) has an Enter The Battlefield effect. I was playing around with a return to the Alara shards, where each of the shards has a different "primary" color, but the same three color wedge set (if that makes sense); I don't know if this has been done before (and I'll be a little embarrassed if it has). So, for example, the colors for the Bant wedge are {w}{g}{u}, with a focus on White, but what if the Alara shards were altered so that Bant's "primary" focus was BLUE? The New Bant would be {u}{w}{g} (in order of which color is most important).
@TerryTags It's cool. I am unsure at what formula you used to decide the Filter colours. Surely, the lands would have an easier time using the colour in the middle of the shards. Next up:
@TerryTags I know I’m not posting a card, but all of those lands are too complex for a common. I would make all of them uncommon. I’m loving your land designs!
@KorandAngels I would put a semicolon between devoid and flying since they are meant to be on different lines. Also, it would die when it enters the battlefield because it has no p/t. Other than that, I like it!
@LordTachanka123 lol, the first time I read that card, I didn't see the "CHOOSE ONE" text and I was like WHAT. lol, anyway, I think that's a great card. I say "I think" because it seems super-broken, but I can't put my finger on why, so it's probably just great! haha
@LordTachanka123 S'tol Alterations is really very broken. Some abilities do not fit with the blue color. It is a fun card for commander. Maybe less options and certainly without ''Players skip their draw phase ' XD
Ehh, i gave it a try. It was made for a challenge on a plane where things constantly change, so why not break all the rules of magic? Prob should have been legendary though...
I really liked the design. A turbocharged Opt, but what black needs. I only worry if combat damage leads to loss of life (I'm not sure). Depending on the situation it becomes a Dig Through Time of one mana (compared radically)
@CassZero I'm really impressed with your manipulation of the design space! I have no idea how to play that card by looking at it, but I don't care, I favorited it anyway.
Here's a card I was hoping to get feedback on:
Should she be {1}{u}{g} instead of {1}{w}{u}? I know the Reach ability is usually a Green ability, but because her flavor is like a vengeful anti-flyer, I figured it'd be a neat color-wedge shift for the ability? I dunno.
@TerryTags I've always felt that white/blue was pro-fliers, while green or blue/green might be more in the realm of anti-flier. Just my opinion. Nice flavor though
@Atriark, I provided review in the comments section. I believe that you have a good idea there, but it needs a few minor adjustments. I also shot a fave in your direction.
Next card is my Gaze of Possibilities:

Sorry about the multiple "Land Series" that I've been posting, but that's the kick I'm on right now. I'm sure everyone's had the same thought I did about "Shock Lands": what about "Bolt Lands" that do 3 damage for 3 different mana? And obviously, there's plenty of other ways to fix mana without needing to do 3 damage, right? But what if it came in untapped? And the damage was mandatory? And if it was FOUR mana types instead of just 3 for 3 damage?
Here's what I mean, behold my "Bolt Land" series or "Lands of Last Resort" as I'm calling them:
[Edit: link is to Set, but I got rid of 4 of the images]
@Ranshi I tend to make OP cards, so I'm still trying to figure out balance. How about: "As CARDNAME enters the battlefield, you may pay 5 life. If you don't, sacrifice CARDNAME."
@TerryTags Since it looks like its running on the theme of merged gates from ravnica, why not do something like ". . .enters the battlefield tapped. When . . . enters the battlefield, pay {2}. If you don't, sacrifice it." or something of that nature.

What do you guys think? These would be good for Lands decks, no?
