@CassZero I like Growth of the Oasis. It's simple, which is good for a common, and yet still flavorful, especially in its use of Addendum. As everyone knows, it's the commons that make a set, and this would add flavor and backstory to any set.
Anyways, as a tribute to Origins, I've decided to make a cycle of cards that turn creatures into planeswalkers, but not quite in the same way as Origins did it:
I'm not asking for advice on each individually, more like advice on the cycle as a whole, or on your favorite (or least favorite) of the cycle. Also, wording advice is always useful.
@Ydoplus_of_Forduuath You to skipped me. Also, Spark of the Pyromancer seems a bit overpowered since if you look at the origins chandra https://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?multiverseid=398422, you will see that it is a -2 to deal 2 damage to a creature. If you changed that to "+1: Deal 2 damage to target player, I believe that would make it more balanced.
@fire12 Sorry, I didn't see your post. Dakros's Tracker is ineteresting, but most of the time it seems to be 2 mana removal unless the opponent keeps up 3 mana, seriously hindering them. Still, the concept is interesting, and I don't really have a point of comparison for your card to truly judge the power level.
Also, Kathril may disagree about those Indestructible counters.
@Ydoplus_of_Forduuath All in all, those cards seem a bit overpowered to me. For example, you could have a 2 mana transforming a 0/1 plant into a 2/2 indestructible. But the idea is pretty cool.
Speaking of cool and overpowered, here's a few of my dragon'ish cards:
@fire12 Fight for the Hoard is slightly op... I would get rid of the create Gold tokens if I were you. Also, in the first sentence it should be "Than" not "then" other than that nice card.
Fight for the Castle is a great card, but the text is really cramped... I'll fav it up anyway because I love the concept of this card.
@Fantastickill7 yep! I loved it, and favorite'd it Seriously, his haste plus his card draw as a default choice is very well balanced for his CMC, and then those times when you've got a ton of artifacts already on the battlefield, he can swoop in for damage, instead. It kinda makes me wonder if he'd be better with Flash instead of Haste, but it's great the way it is.
@KrakenSalad You skipped Feline Traker. Also, I love the concept behind Keciret, but he is a little bit overpowered. Here's an Instant, because I've never posted one on here:
@fire12 I believe you chose the wrong frame, but I can't blame you, since colorless instants only appear in Zendikar and we don't have that sort of frame yet. Your best shot could've been using the Black border and put a black mana cost (even if it's just 1 mana). If you did, then you wouldn't go too far from the color pie, meaning your card can easily be a mono black card. About the effects themselves, they do are good, but this card can potentially be really good or really bad. If you are 100% sure that the spell won't be countered, and that you have enough disposable creatures in order to seriously blast the opponent's life (maybe even killing him outright), then go for it. Otherwise, it's not worth it since it doesn't help you with stalling time if you are on the defensive.
Sorry for the long judgement, I hope you can find it useful. Here's my card, please tell me what you think:
@Scaccogaming It is an interesting card to be a tutor that can be done at the best time . But I found it too heavy for that kind of ability. (put onto battlefield and activity later, besides having to sacrifice).Diabolic Tutor is an example. Maybe less mana to put on the battlefield. I found it very restrictive.
@KrakenSalad I didn't see your comment in the cards comment. Anyway follow here too.
@shadow123 By Your Side: no defects. Simple and elegant. Sinister Plans: Falkenrath Noble improved, but it ability seems to be Uncommon. Coming from anywhere is very strong for a common one.
@KrakenSalad Corrupted Offerer: I really liked it outside the commander. It smells like a combo. The second ability looks bad. If you get 1 life, you get nothing instead. It was only on purpose to stop it.
@shadow123 sorry I don't think my comment saved for some reason. But i think with your dog card that the abilities should be together maybe? But i also get you are probably trying to line it to cover the card but great job on it! And with Sinister Plans I love. Great flavor text to!
@KrakenSalad Those cards are awsome, but, at least in my mind, they're a tiny bit overpowered, since with Arlacu, if you've got cards with all the colors, your going to have more cards that aren't lands that give mana, so you could be getting tons of extra mana and damage per turn. Skeletal Titan is a little bit more balanced, but forcing all of your opponents creatures to attack seems more like a rare ability. Sorry for the wall of judgement, here's a fun card of mine:
@CassZero I really love it when people pick an ability that would normal hinder a creature, but it fits the flavor. Last strike makes up for the 2 CMC for a 1/4 and since he's a turtle lord, it's an awesome balance, well done!
@KrakenSalad Arlacu is a legendary mythic rare, so it makes sense that it would be game-breakingly overpowered; meaning, I like it how it is, I think that makes it balanced. Skeletal Titan needs to be Rare, but is otherwise fine, in my opinion.
@fire12 the flavor text and picture are EVERYTHING about this card! I love it! If you don't mind a little bit of easily corrected nitpicky grammar advice, the sentence "It's controller creates..." should be "Its" without the apostrophe. This distract-able kitty is SO flavorful, because it really makes your opponent have to come up with an answer for it every turn and the way to distract it is with Food. Such a great card! Well designed.
Also, I was recently watching Nizzahon's video on Top 10 Wrath effect cards, and I thought this would be a neat wrath card. Feel free to pick one or both to comment on

My first version was a little less confusing, but it didn't fit within the space of the card.

What do you guys think of this ooze; it's supposed to be along the lines of: Polyraptor, Spawnwrithe, and Giant Adephage.
