Ah, I see. I used the flood counters thing as a reference when I made the flooding mechanic, the trick was to have some cards care if the battlefield was flooded or not, maybe that's what MagicalMagic could use!
Anyway, if that isn't much of a mechanic, then what about this Etherialize mechanic that I've been tinkering with?
It doesn't really have much upside since you only get a 1/1 where you'd normally get the full stat creature or a 4/4 if you were using Embalm or Eternalize. This card, and Goblin Snatchpockets, the other Etherialize card I made, don't have the "Etherialize only as a sorcery" clause to balance it out I guess. But I'm still wondering if that would give Etherialize much of a change. What do you think? I don't know if it should be at sorcery speed or not XD
@ManaChrome It's safer with sorcery clause, but if you do that it's just a weaker version of Eternalize. I think the mechanic is cool as it is. I think it's more interesting if it gives the token flying:P Etherialize [Cost] ([Cost], Exile this card from your graveyard: Create a token that's a copy of it, except it's a 1/1 blue Spirit '__ceature types__' with no mana cost and has flying.)
Used mostly for artifact creatures, you have to 'wind up' the creature to untap it, usually by paying its casting cost. Whether it has an added ability whenever it gets untapped is up to you.
@JoeMoose I think Wind Up is a flavorful mechanic, but WotC doesn't make mechanics that only have downside. Cardsmiths don't like to use them too. How about this: Wind up N (This permanent doesn't untap during your untap step and has "{n}: Untap this permanent.")

@Everyone thank you so much! We have now 12 mechanics! Sorry if your favorite mechanics aren't included in this list. But if you post them to the Encyclopedia, they will be used in future mechanix challenges.
These are mechanics that i'm going to use in Mechanix Challenge #30

Cooperation - (Effect..) as long as you control a mono-(Color A) creature and a mono-(Color creature. Cooperation - [Cost]: (effect..) Rehearse by @KrampisZman Rehearse (At the beginning of your upkeep, put a verse counter on this creature.) NOTE: Creatures with this mechanic must have the "Musician" subtype. This way, tribal musicians payoffs that reference verse counters can function. --------------- Let me know if you find wording mistakes!
@Scott_Anderson Anytime:) Thanks for posting your mechanics. I fixed your cooperation mechanic but I realized I don't like that version so much.. I'll replace cooperation with thorns Thorns N (Whenever this creature is dealt combat damage by creature, this creature deals N damage to that creature.)

I appreciate you and @ningyounk helping me think through it.
I should have a much better idea of what it means by challenge 31.
