Honestly, interest in this so far has just been too low for me to judge. I'm just biding my time and seeing if this gets more entries, despite it being two weeks past the deadline
Oh shoot. Forgot I needed to judge this! @Tomigon Your entry is in the pool even though its past the due date. I'll get things judged by the end of today for everyone who entered. Sorry this took so long!
Okay, time for judging. First up is @Ranshi with What’s Yours//Is Mine Design 25/35 Creativity 29/30 Appeal 10/10 Interaction 5/10 Wording 9/10 Balance 4/5 Bonus Points: Flavor 6/7 Art 3/3 Total: 91/100 (A-) Review: This is such an insanely unique concept! I know Wizards has experimented with alternate printing techniques in unstable and this seems like it would've fit right in with that lot of unused ideas! The example effect you provided is rather bland, but not Op or anything from what I can tell. It's worth noting that it really isn't much beyond a glorified split card, but the overall presentation of having the pullout tabs and such is simply wonderful!
Next up is @ningyounk with Aybith, God of Loss Design 26/35 Creativity 20/30 Appeal 10/10 Interaction 8/10 Wording 10/10 Balance 3/5 Bonus Points: Flavor 6/7 Art 3/3 Total: 86/100 (B+) Review: This is how a god should "feel" as a card. The new organization of the mana cost does a great job of emphasizing the amount of colored mana in its mana cost and really gives off the feeling of having something special to play. Although, I question the necessity of the arrangement. It is a lot of colored mana that would take up a lot of room on the name line, but I don't know how much it really is necessary to condense the mana like that. I'm also a bit concerned about power level; I'm not sure how hard it is to hit that 9 black devotion needed to freecast, or even, say, 4 black devotion to cast this turn 5. It is, after all, a 7/7 that's going to be very hard to remove and has an insane punishment effect against your opponent. Still, this has great flavor and feel to it. Solid work.
Another entry from @ningyounk is Dance of Ire Design 30/35 Creativity 28/30 Appeal 9/10 Interaction 9/10 Wording 10/10 Balance 4/5 Bonus Points: Flavor 7/7 Art 3/3 Total: 100/100 (A+) Review: This is a really cool card. I know you've been looking for a way to make an "Art coming to life" mechanic in Rezatta and this one certainly accomplishes it, despite the issue you brought up about not having enough card art that is wide enough to fit the template. Dance of Ire is simply beautiful, if a tad bland in the mechanical effect. However, the two "mode's" effects pair well together and the idea of turning your instants and sorceries into creature has been one I myself have been toying with for some time now. Great execution here!
@DeepSky with Fiery Awakening Design 26/35 Creativity 28/30 Appeal 10/10 Interaction 5/10 Wording 10/10 Balance 3/5 Bonus Points: Flavor 4/7 Art 3/3 Total: 89/100 (B+) Review: I can't believe you pulled this off using MTGCS! Awesome idea! This is, just like Dance of Ire, something I had been toying around with mechanically (that is, turning a creature into a planeswalker), but I always ran into the challenge of cards of this sort being too wordy. You accomplished this smoothly and sophisitcatedly. My main issue is it seems very underpowered. It's a narrow enchantment considering it can only hit legendary creatures and it makes it into in what most cases will be an objectively worse planeswalker. 1 damage to any target is typically not going to be strong enough to serve as protection and considering it only starts at two loyalty, its not hitting its ultimate fast enough, which also isn't incredibly strong. I like to look at this card as a 3 mana planeswalker divided into two costs, and at 3 mana the card should be a tad better, or at least have a more flashy ultimate. Still, though, I adore this card and the potential for other designs with this sort of templating.

Design 25/35 Creativity 28/30 Appeal 7/10 Interaction 6/10 Wording 10/10 Balance 3/5 Bonus Points: Flavor 5/7 Art 3/3 Total: 87/100 (B+) Review: This is a fun little design! I like the idea of the art being the main focus of the card's mechanics. Sort of reminds me of Baron Von Count from unstable. However, the card does have one issue for me: after this card has been cast once and the answer has been learned by the players at the table (3&4 fill up first and at the same time), those players will never answer wrong again, and that's excluding the players that look up the answers as soon as they see the card. Assuming this had been in an Un-Set environment, it really wouldn't have been all that fun or interesting in the long-run because soon enough everyone will expect it and the outcome of the card will just be the same each time. Still, props for creating a unique concept with a learning element involved!
Lastly, another entry from @Tomigon See No Evil//Hear No Evil//Speak No Evil Design 31/35 Creativity 26/30 Appeal 9/10 Interaction 9/10 Wording 10/10 Balance 4/5 Bonus Points: Flavor 6/7 Art 3/3 Total: 98/100 (A+) Review: Hehe! What a cute little idea for a card! A triple split card is a cool little concept, though I fear it might be a bit cramped to read but whatever. Art is absolutely adorable and the effects match the names well. I also like how you did buyback to give it to all three cards. Cool idea! My only gripe is the buyback combined with the lockdown effect of See No Evil Miiiiiight be a bit too strong, but I'm not entirely sure. Great little card here. Good work!
Okay, so the final rankings are 1st Dance of Ire by @ningyounk 2nd See No Evil//Hear No Evil//Speak No Evil by @Tomigon 3rd What’s Yours//Is Mine by @Ranshi 4th Fiery Awakening by @DeepSky 5th Which Beaker fills first? by @Tomigon 6th Aybith, God of Loss by @ningyounk

For the record, I came up with a bunch of concepts prior to the contest starting to see how many of them got covered. Here's the list I had: -An aftermath card with at least one side being a creature -Instant/sorcery tokens (or some similar concept where you add a spell to your hand that didn’t start in your deck) -An aftermath/fuse card with three or more effects/sides (Done by @Tomigon) -A nonartifact card with the Crew ability -A planeswalker creature (this one’s tough and I’m not sure how you’d pull it off.) (Done in a sense by @DeepSky) -An artifact planeswalker -A 1-ability planeswalker -An enchantment land or planeswalker land -A card with no types and subtype -An instant/sorcery with power and toughness (such as one that could become a creature somehow) (Done by @ningyounk) -A nontoken card that can give/gain the token subtype -A saga with more than 3 chapters -A card that’s one color, but requires totally different colored mana to cast -A non-planeswalker card that can make an emblem -A planeswalker with a +X effect. -A sixth color -Tri/Quad/Five color hybrid mana -Adding hybrid mana to the mana pool (in a sense, I’d imagine it provides two colors at the same time.)
Ok. I’d like to say that many times I’ve wanted mana symbols like that but had no way of implementation. Also you wanted frame breaks not mana breaks...
Comments
We’ll see. I was hoping to get more people to enter and share some wacky ideas.
This uses art in the effect!
New Deadline: October 19th
- 3 split card
- They all can use the same keyword ability
I should have made it uncommon or rare though.

It's not a big deal, you did end up getting third
