If you see the account I think you can know how we use it..
"Whenever an effect you control would make an opponent discard a card, if they can't,"
So, I'm aiming for that very specific moment in the game where you make your opponent discard more cards than they actually have in hand. It basically makes the Urgoros ability from Dominaria apply to every discard spell.
It would appear that some thrulls aren't content with Orzhov or Rakdos.
@Everyone
Maybe you can get more ideas if you see some keywords-

If you use "would _____, _____ instead", "If" should be used. Not "Whenever".. Sorry! X(
I'd say that about 2/5 of those are are unique triggers...
Yeah, it looks like I misread the challenge haha
Thanks for your entry. But if you use the word "would", "if" should be used instead of "whenever"..
But the simplest way to fix that wording would be "Spells and abilities you control can't be countered."
The new version can say "whenever"!
"Whenever a spell or ability you control is countered, you may draw a card."
Here's the difference between [When/Whenever _____ ] and [If _____ would ______]
"Whenever a creature you control is dealt damage, ____."
When this effect happens, the creature already took the damage. It's too late to make _____ say "prevent that damage"
"If a creature you control would be dealt damage, ____"
When this effect happens, the damage is not dealt yet. You can make _____ like "prevent that damage" or "you lose that much life instead."
Also this contest ends tomorrow @everyone!

"Harvester of Mind" by @ningyounk

Really cool idea! It gives a new view to discard spells. My only issue is the wording. I commented on the card's page.
"Viveka, Eradicator of Old" by @TenebrisNemo

It's a bit narrow and wordy, but I like how much she hates indestructible and hexproof. Because I do too!
"Eternal Searching" by @Temurzoa

As I pointed out, wording has an issue. But thanks for making me smile!
3rd place!
"Document Thrulls" by @Faiths_Guide
Seems like a neat, balanced design! The triggered ability makes surveil more fun!
2nd place!!
"Undergrowth Scavenger" by @Quni
So many utilities! Crucible of Worlds with a body, sends cards to graveyard, makes the top better. A very good build-around-me card!
1st place!!!
"Turtles' Garden" by @Teacup
Simple yet definitely unique trigger! But the token's ability is more unique! I think it's a clever idea to make the card balanced and interesting. Populate would be fun!
Wow, surveil is popular! I think it's a fun mechanic too.
Thanks to all participants! I really enjoyed this!
