No problem @Arceus8523, I'm 36 about to be 37 on September 25th! As for magic, ive been well aware of mtg I just got into it late. I first learned of it when I was buying spawn and anything else that was image or dark horse comics really back when I was in high school, and going to comic shops is how I came to learn of the game. I went art, comics then jumped to music, parties, concerts then now I'm into magic, but my love for art never changes! I'd like to get into going to live plays like phantom of the opera if Aryanf would ever get interested in it, it's something I'm not used to but could be fun.
Im trying to say I think I'd like it a lot actually. I love a lot of doom and Gothic doom metal and opera based metal as well other than my normal metalcore or melodic death metal. As Ozzy once put it, "it's all rock and roll, man."
I like more than metal too like punk, ska, industrial/techno/electronica, country ( when it's badass country not b.s. they try to pass off as country music) picky about pop and rap though... but willing to give most music a shot.
@sorinjace Ah neat! I’m a big, big fan of music and musical theater, I have a season pass to our local theater that gets the touring broadway shows. I hopped into MTG because a friend (who hardly even plays now) wanted me to play. I started going to my LGS and here I am!
@Arceus8523 or @sorinjace, could one of you two please take me up on the challenge!? I really like both your works and you guys started at around the same time so I want to prove myself to myself!
My fav music is 70s and 80s classic rock and pop, add in Daft Punk and a tiny bit of modern pop. I also like a good amount of lyricless music (the PDM EoS soundtrack and the soundtrack in a good deal of Kirby games are huge highlights for me), but I’ve sort of fallen out listening to that.
Wow @Arceus8523 maybe you can show me some of the cool musical theater, you know like a crash course into it? I don't know if I'll ever get Aryanf into it, but it don't mean I can't enjoy it. She wants me to find more hobbies than mtg or mtgcardsmith lol. I've done the partying I'm not a partyer anymore not that I won't do it, but I'm telling ya, I lived the rock and roll life. I used to go every day to Frankie's and main event and headliners for free cuz i promoted shows and local bands that played these places. That was the deal, I promote, I get in free any show I'm on a guest list. I miss those days, but it helped me to stay busy when my exgf Chelsie had committed suicide. The entire local music scene in my town loved her, they comforted me when they could, heh guess I had a somewhat emo phase though I'm not emo. (It's like that song title by the band killwhitneydead, "even metalheads can get the blues") She was an amazing person, and her anniversary of her commiting suicide is coming up september 20th. She did this in 2001 back when I was 19. Her funeral fell on my birthday, which was 2 weeks after 9-11 went down. I second that song by green day on this topic "wake me up when september ends"...

I would, but it’s late for me and I’m not too far away from heading to bed.
