@MonkeyPirate2002 It is less relevant when you're running a thread with a smaller group of participants that are closely knit. But still is a good reminder from time to time to hop on the thread.
I've been interested in the concept of bosses, so here's a boss concept that tests survivability: https://mtgcardsmith.com/view/vaelastrasz-undying-flame The idea is that Vaelastrasz is extremely powerful in the early game and might have great amounts of mana, but due to how his deck should have extreme draw/ be smaller than other bosses and his copy effect not being optional he will deck himself out pretty fast. I love the concept of making bosses, so I'll post more (most likely).
@Potato13 Hey, that's a good idea. I assume that Vaelastrasz would be mono-red in a deck full of cantrips, burn and maybe a ritual or two. Also, will you mind if I port your card of him over to untap.in so that I can build a deck for him?
@Potato13 While I like the idea of the card, there are a few things I’d like you to fix:
Instead of saying “cast a copy of it” say “copy” it.
Replace his first ability with the custom keyword “Rebate” (This creature costs {2} less to cast for each time you’ve cast your commander from the command zone this game.)
Finally, replace the name and picture please. We don’t want to make this look like “if mtg was hearthstone”
@Potato13 you got almost all of suggestions correctly, you missed a few details:
The first one's on my part, since I meant to say "game" instead of "way." I edited the comment to say the correct correction.
As for the second edit, when I said first ability, I was talking about "You may cast Venorgose, Undying Flame from your graveyard or from exile." Since the commander has Rebate, there is no need to have this ability. The menace was fine with me.
Hey all, I have been thinking of an idea that would make this contest more like a D&D adventure. For all who have made a deck WITH CUSTOM CARDS, you may participate. Here's the challenge:
"Your party is moving through the abandoned dungeon when you stumble across a locked door."
What will your character do?
Instructions:
Post a card from your deck and explain an action your character takes. The more the card is related to the action, the better.
Alright, here are some new rules for challenges. When a challenge appears, the people who are assigned that challenge cannot make any new cards until they select a card and must choose a card they have already created from their deck. Only custom cards are allowed for challenges. Challenges are random and may appear at any moment.
If I'm solving this problem by using a card from the dwarves, does this mean I can't use cards relating to my fae to solve problems until the end of the dungeon?

I might try creating my own deck for myself.
1x Vorthoss, Dungeon Delver
2x Eliminate
1x Cut And Run
1x Shadow Sniper
1x Mist Walk
1x Heartless Killer
1x Fade To Black
2x Asses The Surroundings
2x Discreet Tracker
2x Skilled Saboteur
4x Swamps
4x Islands
The card for the challenge is coming it will use this character as a reference.
My character picks the lock and sneaks in with or whitout the party.
When in doubt, hope it's destructible and that there isn't a lich in earshot. Please don't ask how I've managed to get a mortar into a dungeon.
I have a Bristleback charge the door.
New solution, I use magic to apear into the next room and stab at evrything that moves.
They mean Faerie.
