@Mantis17 If you want Slay the Beast to stay at {3} and still be black (which is a design decision I vehemently disagree with because I don't see the point, it's confusing, and lacks flavor) then the proper rules formatting for a card that has no colored mana in its cost but is not a colorless card is:
@KorandAngels Here's what you would do to put the card image in the comment: -Go to the page, copy-paste the first thing in a yellowish box into the comment box. -Go to the card, and right-click on it. Click Copy Image Address. -Delete the words Card Image in the line from the guide, and paste the image address of your card inside the quotation marks.
That should do it, tell me if you need clarification.
@KorandAngels If you go to the page that @MonkeyPirate2002 has linked above, there should be some text in a tan-yellow box that looks like this (with < substituted for [ and > substituted for ]): [/img]
Comments
Cicadusi (my planeswalker)
Slay the Beast
Undead Warlock
Rot and Ruin
[Card Name] is .
[Rest of the rules text goes here.]
The example is Slaughter Pact's Future Sight variant: http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?multiverseid=130704
Later prints of the card would use a symbol to denote its special color rule, but MTGCardsmith doesn't have that option.
