MTG Heroes (Superhero card contest)
I was creating a card for the Mechanix Challenge 35 using @Tbeast430's Firestorm mechanic when I thought, You know what would be cool? Having a card of Firestorm with this mechanic!
And that is where the idea for this contest comes from. Welcome to my newest contest, MTG Heroes! The premise of this is simple: Create a card based off a superhero. Any superhero will do, from DC, Marvel, or any other independent comics company. (Edit: I am also allowing villains/antiheroes)
Rules
-Cards must be based off a superhero.
-Cards will be judged on mostly flavor (Abilities fitting the hero) and balance, but I will consider other factors when judging.
-Up to 10 entries, up to 4 of which can be made before 12/13/18.
Prizes
-Honorable Mentions get 1 favorite
-3rd place gets 3 favorites, a follow, a mention in the Hall of Fame, and the ability to nominate a Honorable Mention.
-2nd place gets 4 favorites, a follow, a mention in the Hall of Fame, and the ability to nominate a Honorable Mention.
-1st place gets 5 favorites, a follow, a mention in the Hall of Fame, and the ability to nominate a Honorable Mention.
Now, without further ado, Good Luck, Have Fun, and Happy Cardsmithing!

Batman is a double-faced card.
The card would be this:
Ulfsaar is from the video game DOTA 2 where 2 teams of five heroes fight each other and try to destroy their enemies' ancient first. If it needs to be from a comic, then I could do something else.
My favorite comic character is the Red Hood. Like him, I grew up in an abusive home. Now I've moved out, and found a totally different world than the one I was raised in. My favorite run of him is the 2016 one, where he befriends Bizarro and Artemis. Him and Bizarro really click because they both were constantly faced with the fact that they weren't the big guy (Superman for Bizarro, Batman for Red Hood). Since I'm paying a lot more of my own bills than the people around me, I feel like I'm poor compared to them. There are things in life they take for granted so much, but Red Hood and Bizarro get it.
Card Design wise, Under the Red Hood is Red Hood's most famous story, and it was largely a mystery of "Who is the Red Hood?" There were a few false leads, repped by morph so you can bluff like it is or isn't this card. The graveyard recursion is from him being resurrected. Lastly, he has flimsy toughness because he actually gets pretty beat up frequently. He can dish punches, but he's not the best at taking them.
Bizarro is always trying to be Superman. It is what he was made for. So he gets the weird ability gaining thing from trying to be someone he's not. He gets -2/-2 when doing it because it never seems to work out right. Otherwise, he's a big flying beater like the bruiser he is in the comics. He's not blue because he's not known for being smart.
That's a wall of text, but this contest has been in my head for a minute.

Whats this? Whats this? A comic book contest? 10 entries? Hold the bleep on, ill brb!
@brcien i really love that you gave that info about your cards i hope you drop more and more detailed info like that!
Hellboy! You can choose to send him down the path of light and join the BPRD (creating soldier token allies) or embrace his destiny as the Anung Un Rama (destroy a creature).
Notorious Hellboy villain Rasputin- he can create frog monsters and summon the Ogdru Hem- but at a terrible cost. He also comes back as a spirit (enchantment) after death.

Thanos, the mad titan, has seen the influence of life. It drains the universe of it's resources, the rich stealing form the poor. When resources are scarce, life is a living hell for those who are lucky enough to survive. But with the help of the six infinity stones, and his wisdom, passion, and persistence, the mad titan seeks to balance the universe by destroying half of it's inhabitants.
Entry three... Doctor Strange!
