It was good while it lasted. The brushstriders seemed to not like being spies... seems they are a little less secretive. Well, the Flock’s colonisers have returned home, but left any spies behind to be annoying . However, they have also left a gift. You must find out what that is. Jarkonailia is not over.
That is the story you heard of the Flock’s leaving. It is up to you to believe whether that was entirely true or not. Is there something else happening?
Thanks @HeroKP for the challenge (I shall return for Season 3 hopefully) and thank you to everyone else for making this possible.
@HeroKP So what is the challenge exactly? Just make a card that we think best describes or shows our faction/team? Or do we literally just make anything?
Rumours of the Jarkonailian Hoard float around. Does it exist? Is this the gift they left? It’s on page 14... But most importantly, the rumours don't tell of where it is...
@AxNoodle Dang it, I contributed to making that pile o' shiny things.
@pjbear2005 A lot of people (primarily @Hergusbergus and @AxNoodle in their battle for miscellaneous-card-making supremacy) have been doing that so far without any negative consequences so it'll probably be fine as long as you're careful to specify which card your entry is.
Altanin was the creator of the living elements and basically the god of the elementals. He is not normally credited for any of this and is widely considered a myth. He was said to have perished in an ancient battle and his soul became a planeswalking living element. The ones who still believe in him think his soul is still roaming around the planes today. Some have even told of visions given to them by him.
@AxNoodle I hereby claim the Jarkonailian Hoard. (Funny, because we Aren't actually on Edgerim.) @HeroKP If that claim gives any card benefit, can I have that benefit in S3 (If I actually get to play in it)?
After the death of Altanin, his soul transformed into a creature, but released it's black and white mana. It's main form is this monstrosity of red, green and blue mana, while two other creatures of white and black mana respectively still roam the lands. The immense power of Altanin transferred into his spirit creatures and gave them the power to walk the planes, after being drawn to the powers radiating from the armies on Edgerim, it began to travel towards it and once it arrives it will bring ruin to the enemies of the elements.
@KorandAngels That doesn't matter. The point is that the dragons have vanished from the plane because they've been attacked by angry brushstriders or something, but they haven't been able to take all of their treasure with them. Basically, it's a treasure hunt (though whether it's a treasure hunt that's canon to the Hero of the Capes lore is unknown).
@MemoryHead Oh, but it does! The first part of the card contains colours @pjbear2005 cannot use and threfore is not eligible for entry, but the second one is!
@HeroKP Oh, I get it. My brain had seen the colours on the front and then glazed over the italics on the flip so I had gone "Ok, it's five colour. Weird, but I'm not going to argue." That makes a lot more sense now.
In relation to the treasure hunt, I now have a terrible feeling that @KorandAngels is magically going to appear from the sky as another faction. It won't happen, but I reserve the right to be terrified if it does.
@HeroKP@MemoryHead Sure, it can be in the future, but I originally wanted it to be a hunt within the forum. The message I sent had invisible text you could see by highlighting, so it actually read: Rumours of the Jarkonailian Hoard float around. Does it exist? Is this the gift they left? It’s on page 14... But most importantly, the rumours don't tell of where it is... Page 14 told @KorandAngels to claim the treasure, but I meant it for the competitors really. It has become a mess, and so it would be better if @HeroKP put it into the contest himself.
@HeroKP Let us say that @KorandAngels heard of the hoard, came, and found a second, smaller hoard that was part of the main thing but was cut off in a cave-in.
That seems to be an over elaborate description of a small action... seems to work, though.

You mean how it's a rearranged spelling of Rayyan? XD
It has to be a card that fits in your empire, but no rules except that
There's The Sorrowrot ( @Hergusbergus, @Lujikul )
Nature's Entente ( You and @Daedalus_The_All_Father )
and the Occultix ( @MonkeyPirate2002, @MemoryHead )
It’s on page 14...

(Not my Entry)

I thought things were all set up for your faction and The Occultix to take out The Sorrowrot, but I guess it's going to be a three way war!
It is still up for grabs!
The treasure hunt is 100% real and will take place later in the contest. Get prepared whilst you can!

But I will host a hunt in the main thread, yes
