Now there's only a tiny, unimportant type of terrain called "land" to conquer!
There aren't really types of terrain yet (the colour codes refer to who controls them). I'll ad those on the weekend.
Yep. Thanks. Also, if you want to make some really high quality maps, I suggest Inkarnate. It's made for fantasy maps.
I tried Inkarnate, and it's wonderful, and I will definitely use it... but for other projects. We really have a simplistic, paper rpg, made in lunch break to play on the weekend kind of vibe, so I'm not sure it fits.
Plus, I'm such a doof at graphic design it will probably take me a month to learn, which I don't mind, but I think we were all hyped up for the contest to begin.
So thank you very much for the site, but I think I might just stick with paintbrush and affinity for now.
Ok, so I felt like the map didn't play big enough of a role last time, so this contest is going to be a lot more territory-based. You know, like a real PRGP.
So I will need you - to make a card representing your exploration - SAGAS ARE ALLOWED FOR THIS CHALLENGE (I will only allow Sagas, Planeswalkers and Conspiracies for certain challenges). That you post openly in the thread.
Then, you tell me where you want to expand. THAT YOU DO THROUGH PRIVATE MESSAGING.
And then, I will expand each of you according to how I liked your card.
(P. S.: You can also start a border conflict by saying you want to expand into ENEMY TERRITORY. It's risky, as the player will hold a grudge, and if I like his card more, you'll actually lose territory from the conflict, but if you win, you get a huge bonus: good for YOURSELF, bad for the OPPONENT)
