A ) The easiest way is Layer Style - Stroke. I always make new layers for outlines. So that I can edit the color of the icon without touching the outlines. (Video)
B ) Pen tool to draw outlines. This would be the best way if you want every corner of the symbol look sharp and beautiful.
@Grimaldus - The Pixel Dimensions are 125 x 125 (That's what I use) You could work 250 x 250 but as long you stay within those constraints you'll achieve a maximum size on all your set symbols.
@Tomigon I thought it might be related to next year's spoiled sets coming up, but here's the tentative symbols for them, and your last two aren't on it ... WEIRD!
I knocked together a couple of the Jumpstart symbols because I needed them for a few cards, and since we don't seem to have them here then... here we are, I suppose. You might notice that the uncommon and rare symbols are slightly less visually crisp than the others. That's because they're far harder to find and I had to use a somewhat quick and dirty method to make them. I've tested them and there's no real visual difference when you're making things on Cardsmith, anyway.
To make a few brief notes and pieces of reasoning, Lorwyn's already available as a default symbol option on the site (hence the fact that I didn't do it along with its megablock companions), and mythic rare cards didn't exist at the time (hence the lack of mythic symbols). The set symbols for Shadowmoor and Eventide will look a little small on cards, unfortunately, because of their nature as "primarily sideways" and my lack of expertise with the site's workings meaning I don't know how to deal with it.
As is typical for my methods, some symbols have higher quality than others, but the difference is negligible when viewed on an actual card.
Kaldheim symbols. That's the upcoming Norse mythos set, for those who don't know. Had to knock all of these except for the mythic together manually, but they still seem totally functional.
Set symbols for the Dungeons & Dragons: Adventures in the Forgotten Realms set. Manually created except for the mythic. I'm not necessarily gleeful about the rarity shading because of the weird angle it exists at, but it's probably fine.
Modern Horizons symbols. They look a tiny bit smol on cards because the site doesn't like symbols that are primarily sideways, but there isn't much I can do about it and they're fine in all other respects.
Ech, sure. Here are your arguably nonexistent mythics. I'll be the first to admit that they don't look fantastic, but here we are. I also did Kamigawa, since my assumption's that you just wanted them for all the blocks I've done and left mythic-less due to their default lack of existence.
inserting the set code (e.g. KTK / M21 / IKO) in the first blank, and the rarity (C/U/R/M/S) in the second. (Please actually replace the "_"s, otherwise you won't get anywhere).

Notes: - If the set code is wrong / an invalid rarity is typed in, it just shows a blank page. This also means that if the rarity didn't exist back then (looking at you mythic for sets before Shards of Alara), it also shows a blank page. - Sometimes the symbols are more rectangular and don't quite work well directly on the site. Might be a bit troublesome but it seems like a possible feature to allow rectangular symbols on the box. - Other times the colouring is a bit ... weird. Some examples to showcase my point:

I don't know a peckin' thing about Star Wars, but I was randomly inspired to make this set symbol of what's apparently the Jedi Order symbol or something when I saw a contest somebody was holding about Star Wars cards. Inspiration is a fickle thing.
I'm aware that the white / black color border may look overly thick compared to real set symbols. This is deliberate. They still look okay on a card, and with normally sized outlines then the inner colors are insufficiently defined and so the symbol looks dreadful. More dreadful. Whatever. Live with it.
