don't worry, i wont be charging actual money for this (and i couldn't even if i tried).
you make a legendary creature or planeswalker to be your character (max CMC 4, max colours 2) and two supporting cards. you start the contest with 4 "gold counters" on your character and can remove them to remake your character with higher CMC, more colours ect. i will make cards to give you more gold sometimes.
story recomended but not essential.
