Belittle (This creature can't be blocked by creatures with lesser power.) is the opposite version of skulk, but my mechanic is even more functional version of it, thanks to the help of various smiths in the past:
Dreadful (This creature can only be blocked by creatures with total power greater than or equal to this creature's toughness.)
Check out this card's discussion. It used the earliest version of dreadful (not an entry):
"Ancestral Spirit" by @sorinjace 4 mana is too cheap for two 2/3s with that ability, but I love the idea of giving your teammate a copy this card. It would make the game more strategic and fun!
"Ensurers of Death" by @Ilmarinen Mana cost and multimorph cost could be cheaper. It's a very narrow card. But I like the keyword-hate idea. This opens a new strategy like giving opponents' creatures lifelink.
"Perpetiel, Angel" of Time by @JoeMoose Giving other creatures Wind up mechanic is a nice twist! It can be used on your creatures to use their {t} abilities many times, or opponent's creatures to slow them down. My concern is the memory issues. The effect lasts indefinitely, so I think it should put counters to remember which creatures have Wind up ability.
"Sandstorm Dragon" by @Crabbycabbage It seems a bit too expensive, but I like blowing up things at random, and it fits Sandstorm theme really well!
"Opportunistic Assassin" by @bnew07 Wow! He must be really good at throwing daggers! I might want to change it to a powerful wizard or demon(it can even kill gods!) Flavor aside, very fun mechanic!
-3rd Place! "Shackled Colt" by @Faiths_Guide I think 3 mana is good!(But I might make it uncommon.) Getting -1/-1 counters feels like the elemental burns itself out. You removed the name from the mechanic and made it more widely applicable.
-2nd Place!! "Bringer of Blizzard" by @TenebrisNemo Yeah I thought you might submit a card with dreadful when I added belittle to the list lol. This is a bomb uncommon in limited! It feels realistic. Very cool!
-1st Place!!! "Enticing Merchant" by @bnew07 Giving opponent a useless artifact each turn to draw two cards feels very powerful at first look, but you can't make a decent deck with so many weak artifacts. And it can be also used to buy opponents' powerful artifacts too. Very interesting card!

Yes you can!
Yes, as long as you use one of the mechanics from this challenge.
