@Derain2 Tlonakraj stares at Lady Elta for a few seconds, then turns to what at first seemed to be a barrier of trees in the clearing. From that barrier, a massive eye opened. The Ultimate Eye. The eye looks down upon Lady Elta. The spirit of all Striders bows to it by lowering its head, before everyone in the presence of the eye does the same. It focuses on Lady Elta, and in a sudden turn of events, it blasts her with a ray of light. Images flowed past, of war, of peace, of violence, of the invasion of dragons, of the invasion of primal Brushstriders. Suddenly, the illusion drops, and Lady Elta’s mind became her own once again. Somehow, she was back on her ship already. But what she did inexplicably know was that the Striders, the Eye and Jarkonailia had agreed. However, she also knew that the Second Pillar she had described seemed redundant in the views of the Striders. Trade seemed unknown to them, and so did the idea of fabricating homes. The bringing of peace to Krystel was a process that would take time and co-operation from all.
The cathedral bell tolled once as Kasselie entered the moonlit war room, approaching a large table with a map of the region spread out across it. Around the table was Aerona, Zemo, and some of her other advisors and officials. She had sent word ahead of what Shry had told her about, the looming threat of Dusksnare, and told everyone to begin thinking of ways to deal with the menace. Although Kasselie was place in charge of the colony, this was the first time she really felt all eyes on her, expecting resolve and determination from her.
“Zemo, thoughts on the situation?” She asked abruptly before she even reached the table.
“We’ve narrowed now the likely location of the beast’s lair, but approaching it has proven difficult. We’ll have to dedicate a lot of forces to even have a shot at the monster.” He told her, pointing to marked spot on the map just south of their boarder.
“And if we get it out into the open, can your forces defeat it?” She asked.
“We’ve never actually gotten a good look at it; it’s torn through frontline soldiers and scouts too swiftly for any solid reports to reach us. It’s fast and it always has help with it. We’d have to dedicate several mages to punch through its inner defenses and even then I don’t know if they would be capable of taking it down alone.”
Kasselie slumped her shoulders a little, clearly upset. She was bad at hiding her emotions; it was why so many were upset when she was put in charge of this mission.
“If I may propose something.” Lady Aerona chimed in. Her stance was relaxed yet professional, her hand resting on the hilt of her whip. “Perhaps my skills would help.”
Zemo in a rare moment of clear ire began to object. “You can’t seriously-” Before Kasselie raised her hand to silence him.
“I know you’re magic is powerful, but can it really tame something so monstrous?” She asked the elf.
“Not only do I believe we can control it, I think we can transform it. Your, rather, our forces have always struggled with airborne combatants. This creature might give us an edge in that field.”
“What do you need?” Kasselie asked.
They began discussing tactics for approach, drawing the beast out, and how they would entrap and enslave the monster. The overall plan was to use their carbomancers to erect a barrier to narrow the field of battle. This would make it harder for the creature to flank and to surround Pravor’s forces with bats. Then came the tricky part; Aerona assigned several of her champions to capture Dusksnare. They were advised to use as much force as necessary, as killing the beast would be just as useful in this situation. The goal was to subdue it, and transform it into an undead monster under their own control.

And my solution to dealing with is Dusksnare (this is my submission):
@Red_Tower The courier is greeted by the howling sea winds and a solitary figure dressed warmly with a lantern of his own, one that glows warmly while at times dimming. His voice is gruff.
"An audience, hmm? Well, I don't like the looks of ye myself-" He suddenly cuts off as the lantern begins to flicker in his hand and he looks down at it. "Well yes, I know it's not my place to-" The light flickers twice. "Well no, I've gotta keep watch, it's suspicious-" The light flickers insistently. "Fine, fine." The man sighs and looks back to the courier, sounding somewhat defeated. "Our esteemed leader Aishel herself has agreed to an audience to discuss the potential of a treaty between Pravor and ourselves."
"Hmm, thank you." Aishel smiles politely at the glowing spirit before her. The ability of these spirits to communicate long distances was already proving itself useful, especially when they agreed to speak for their bearers. The next few days would certainly be interesting...
I am already planning (But not making) my next faction, since I didn't make it here. I would like a notification of S4. Also, I would like to make the rules slightly looser so that the Leader can be a planeswalker.
This entire "Story" thing is sort of bad for me since I just have a bunch of unimportant bugs, but I'll think of some sort of discussion between the Hive soon.
I'm also not exactly story heavy since my goal is pretty simple:
1) Maintain hold of K'Thrilis 2) Gather parts of K'Thrilia from all over the multiverse and send them to Krystel. 3) Convert those who are nearby and oppose the Church. 4) BRING SALVATION TO THE WHOLE MULTIVERSE.
Cyni, who had come down from the boat, received Atun's gift with gratitude, which should be helpful to her.
"Atun, our church gladly accepts your gift that affirms our eternal covenant, but you are not expecting a return, of course, but I believe that we too owe you something ... Here is our present, perhaps simplistic, and I hope that it will be useful to you ...."
Horrors? *Sigh* Tell Kosho that we might have need of the talents of his house after all. After all, the best remedy to one type of monstrosity is surely another, and Kosho has plenty to choose from:
Today is a glorious day, for our planeswalkers have discovered one of the pieces of K'Thrilia and have sent it here. We shall hold onto this for safekeeping until the time for salvation has come.
Arima stole through the woods. The goblin settlement was just ahead. She snuck up behind a tree. A goblin stood watch outside. It began to scream as Arima came out from behind the tree. She clapped a hand over its mouth. She pulled out her blade and stabbed it through the small creature. The goblin seemed to shrink as its essence seeped into the blade. Ruthlessly and methodically, Arima eliminated every last goblin, saving their essence in her blade.
I am incredibly sad to say that @Red_Tower will not be joining us the rest of this contest. In the last two of these contests, the first few eliminations were easy picking, but here it is getting difficult from the get-go.
Unfortunately, I think the Empire of Pravor just got squeezed out.
Have your mages conjure you your last carbo-bar, open up the imperical gateway, and head home, to Pravor...
As for the rest of you, @AxNoodle will be recieveing slightly more territory than the others since I really do like that card.
If you choose to participate in Season 4, I'd be glad to have you back. I really do like your cards, it's just that I think the balancing could be corrected.
And what horror, @Derain2 is left without an ally! You will be assigned another one soon enough, but so far, you have to continue developing your alliance with the striders, lest the Fae decide to kick you while you're down...
Feel free to leave some feedback now that I'm not a contestant I suppose. Would love to know what I can do better going forward. Hope to see y'all next season
@Red_Tower Sorry to see you go man! I had fun reading your stuff, and I was looking forward to seeing how your characters and our relationship developed. I hope I'll get to rp with you next season!
In House Elta's inner sanctum, three women converge.
"We've finally gotten world back from the Empire of Pravor, and it's worse then we imagined," said Dame Almer.
"Bastards got what they deserved if you ask me," spat Lady Kren. "Never sat well with me, allying with slavers."
"What people deserved wasn't the issue," Lady Elta said. "When you must choose between a force that enslaves peoples body, and another the enslaves peoples soul, the decision is clear. How bad is it?"
"The Empire is being over run at every turn," Said Dame Almer. "Their armies are in full retreat. We have unconfirmed reports that they are slaughtering their civilian population as they go, in fear the vampire will add them to their horde."
"Lady Kren, I want you to commandeer every ship you can, and set sail for Pravor."
"My Lady," Dame Almer interjected, "Say what you will about Pravor, their military vastly outstripped our own. If they couldn't-
"If we must leave these people to die then we shall. But we will try to save as many as we can first. Lady Kren, you are to take our forces to Pravor. You will not engage the vampires directly unless necessary. Find a defensible position along the shore and reinforce it. Use it as a staging ground to gather and transport as many of their refugees as possible out of danger."
"Yes my Lady."
"Dame Almer."
"Yes my Lady?"
"Take our fastest ship, and set sail for the Flamebearers of Dusk. They have ships of their own, and spirits of light seem particularly well suited to the task of fighting vampires. We need their aid."

Gotta love those "rulechanger" cards that warp and change the game around them. I like!
I would very much enjoy to be the one that brought down the Great Churches, which is why my bug allied would help me with their "unimportant" bugs
JESUS, controversy already?!
And commander too!
