Born into nobility, Gregor's early life was one of any other noble knight: train, battle, serve your lord. He never questioned it, for he believed the gods ordained his lord's rule.
Until the Battle of Three Rivers. Sent to quell rioting peasants, he was ordered to slay all who would resist, man, woman or child. He did it, but there was some part of him screaming out at this all the while.
It was here that he started to lose faith. Why would a good king order such an atrocity? Why would the gods have allowed it? These ideas took root in his mind, slowly forming into a rejection of the gods themselves.
His heart and mind were finally clear. There were common people who simply wanted to live in peace. It was the gods and their servants who prevented this.
With this realization, he felt the holy energy which suffused him leave his body. It seemed that as he rejected the gods, they in turn rejected him. But he felt something new fill that void-power drawn from purity of purpose and determination not to let another innocent die.
He left his lord and kingdom without notice. Never again would he be the pawn of those corrupted by power. He lived for the people now.
*Timeskip* Gregor finds himself in Aeris, a nice town with kind people. He's been following leads of local trouble, and is ready to help in any way he can.
@KorandAngels You still need at least two instant/sorcery cards, as well as some background on the character. If you continue to fail to follow directions I'm going to have to ask you not to participate.
Hey y'all, I'm really sorry for the delay in getting this started. I've been really busy lately and haven't been on my computer much, and so I haven't had much time for cardsmith recently. Going to try and start getting back into the swing of things, and will try and get things rolling this weekend if possible, might be into next week. I need to get things organized. Hope y'all are still interested! @murkletins@spookoops@NewUltraGamer@Lujikul@sanjaya666@ASubtleGhost@ThatOneCat@Vardrus@Bowler218
Just a quick update, I had forgotten that school was starting this week, so just a tad bit more delay. But I'll be spending more time on my computer as a result of school, so a somewhat positive result should come of it.
I might jump in, if that is permissible, to take Spookoops place? New characters and stuff. Probably would have them posted by sunday, with confirmation... That ok with you @Red_Tower ?
