Pyrulea

edited July 2015 in Custom Card Sets
On the inverted Surface of Pyrulea issues are getting out of hand.
The five distinctive districts have had a reasonably peaceful history, mostly due to being enemy colour aligned and as such having similar ideals.
Five monstrous beings seem to have appeared from nowhere, and have terrorized much of the population, though they have been deterred from reaching any of the six major cities.
The creatures are corrupting parts of the population to make armies for themselves, and using them to fight the healthy inhabitants. All the evidence as to where these beings may have come from is some strange, black, glistening, oil found around areas where they appeared. In any case if they think Pyrulea will be easy to besiege then they are making a big mistake...

  • So as you have probably worked out this is a set about Phyrexians besieging yet another plane after Mirrodin was turned into New Phyrexia (clever you).
Just to be clear the "five beings" are Phyrexian praetors, a different set to the ones on mirrodin that have been tasked with creating a third phyrexia.
  • Expect weekly lore and contests for card cycles and faction mechanics.
