Hey @ningyounk, the other day I happened to be making cards(pen and paper) when I made up a thing that's, I want to say a super type? Things like ultimatums and oaths. You know what I mean? Good. I called the type "Dances" even though, unlike oaths and ultimatums, none of the cards have dance in the name. Here's two sample cards I made earlier:
Torched Tango 1rr Sorcery Creatures you control get +1/-1 and haste until end of turn.
Chilled Cha Cha 1uu Sorcery Tap all creatures that blocked last turn.
That's the format for the cards. 1 and 2 of any mana, sorcery, and no "target" or "up to N" effects. All big, wide, effect-the-whole-world effects. But today I thought: I'm hungry. And I also thought: Dances might just work for the Renaissance!
I use the term "snowball" — which is absolutely not something official, mind you xD — to represent a play pattern where your spells are going to produce more ressources than you spend to cast them. Some example of that are spellslingers archetypes where casting card draw spells will make you draw more card draw spells and at some point you're overwhelmed in card advantage.
Here, in the case of the WU archetype, the idea would be that casting your second spell each turn produces value that allows you to cast more spells on the next turn, all while getting incidental bonuses like gaining a lot of life, milling the opponent, putting +1/+1 counters on creatures, creating tokens, etc.
Technically a supertype would appear at the beginning of the type line of cards, some examples are legendary, basic and tribal Oaths and ultimatums are not card types or supertypes, they're recognisable cycles ^^
A cycle of dance would be a lot of fun, though we'd need to find enough good illustrations to make this work ^^ I think the cycle concept would need to be a little more branded, I'm not sure I would have guessed the theme if you hadn't tell me. I'm thinking of the card Macabre Waltz for instance, maybe there's a way of representing dance by having cards switch zones successively for instance? the common Breathing Waltz is already doing that a bit, when it enters the battlefield, another creature leaves, it's like a dance:
Here are some illustrations I have, to see if the dance idea would be a full cycle (some of those illustrations I've used for the commons but they can be repurposed, the names and illustrations of the commons are still placeholders at this point):
I think it's feasible if we can find some more illustrations to fill the holes (a lot of these would clearly be red cards).
About Claudio Davinti: - The three colours are a bit much in a set that's not multicolour-centric, it would make it very niche. - I like that the word Art is appearing on the card as it's pretty flavourful, however it would be ok if he was making Art but caring about Art entering the battlefield is too parasitic, it would have a very narrow use which is something we should try to avoid on planeswalkers. Overall, I don't think there's a need for a static ability, it's not really synergising with any other ability and we won't have room for more than one planeswalker with a static ability in the set so we need to make it count. - The +1 ability is red, none of the Esper colours can give haste to a creature like this. Blue and black would gain control of the permanent until Davinti leaves the battlefield for instance ^^ - I like that -6 ability, it's quite original and it gives me a scientific vibe ^^ - Overall the abilities feel a bit disconnected and I have a strong thief vibe coming from the general concept. I think the Da Vinci card needs to emphasise that he's a genius before anything else.

So @ningyounk, would the "type" work?
Sorcery
Creatures you control get
+1/+1 and gain flying until
end of turn.

Perhaps @ningyounk?

How about this @ningyounk?
- Red is best for taking control for a single turn

Also, for it's -2, where are you putting them in the graveyard from?
And why not just make it Izzet?

Here's an idea for the Mona Lisa.
