  • @Flameice2 Good. We needed a way to shutdown Infect before it got out of hand.

*looks at my lose condition decklist*

You rolled an 8. Better luck next time!

    Your new challenge:

    Make a creature card depicting a non-Human with glasses/goggles.

    You said nothing of Dwarves!
  • @Flameice2 Touché. I did not.

You rolled a 4... uh oh.

You got Dicey Terrain (Hazard): The next time a die is rolled, creature entries you control are dealt X damage, where X is the number rolled divided by 5, rounded up. (A creature entry dealt damage equal to or greater than its toughness is removed from judging).

    Your new challenge:
Create a balanced card with storm.

Storm (When you cast this spell, copy it for each spell cast before it this turn. You may choose new targets for the copies.)
  • what happens if a creature is removed from judging? Do I have to redo the challenge?
  • No. That just means it will be ignored when the deadline rolls around.
  • Question: Can it give spells you cast storm or does it have to have storm?
  • I’d avoid cards that give cards storm, since it can get REALLY out of hand

    Is this balanced?

  • Maybe it's OP if you're the luckiest man on earth, but if not, it'll never get played
  • @Flameice2 Ral Zarek exists, so you get the benefit of the doubt.

You rolled an 8. Better luck next time! (Dicey Terrain deals 2 damage to each of your creature entries.)

    Your new challenge:
Create a set of cards that meld. https://mtg.gamepedia.com/Meld

(You will need to submit 3 cards total; the front sides of the two cards that meld, and the melded backside)
  • kk. I can do that.

You rolled a 5. Better luck next time!

    Your new challenge:

Create a balanced card with a powerful effect, but here’s the catch; it also benefits your opponents.

  • @Flameice2 Now that is interesting!

You rolled a 4. Ouch! You got a Goblin That’s Too Fond of Explosives (Hazard): You will lose the next prize you earn.

    Your new challenge:

HARD - Create a balanced one mana hybrid commander.

  • -yawns and brushes dust off of shoulder-
That was a hard challenge? I'd hate to see what an easy challenge is.

(I mean no offense, just trying to make a joke)
  • @Flameice2 Um... I hate to say it, but you rolled a 4 again...

You got a Slow Play (Hazard): You can only get one challenge a day for the rest of the deadline.

    Your new challenge:

Create a card whose name begins with “Ballad of- “

  • can i have one today or do i have to wait?
  • @Flameice2 You haven’t gotten one today, so you can get one today.

You rolled a 17. You got a- *BOOM*

Welp... so much for that. All that remains of your prize is a goblin foot.

    Your new challenge:

HARD - Black Lotus, one of the most notorious cards of all time, has been mingled with in many ways, from becoming a 5 drop permanent that isn’t sacrificed to being shipped as a one black mana instant that produces three black mana. Create a balanced card inspired by Black Lotus.
  • (Planeswalks back into contest)
    "Sorry, what was I doing?"

    NEXT!
  • @KorandAngels The attackers lost their strength as they attempted to attack, eventually succumbing to supernatural fatigue.

SUCCESS! You got a Counterspell (Rare, Activated): If an item’s effect would target you, you can lose this item to nullify that item’s effect.

    Your new challenge:
Create a card with a very unique additional cost (i.e. As an additional cost to cast Triskadian Becoming, return target creature card from an opponent’s graveyard to the battlefield under that player’s control. Please don’t steal this one.)
