You prepare to leave the ghost town for Nasita after burning the rats. However, before you do, Schoren tends to Lilith's wound. He seems a bit pale as he stitches the bite shut.
"Thank you, Schoren." "It's... the least I can do. You'll have to keep a close eye to make sure that bite doesn't get infected... or worse. Gothael, I heard, is practically a cesspool for the plague." "The... plague?" Lim seems confused. "There's a severe outbreak of bubonic plague in Ystheria and parts of Nasita." "Do you not have vaccines?" "What is... a vaccine?" "...Oh dear..."
The trip is mostly silent. While the others walk below, Ishka flies overhead, watching for any surrounding threats as they travel into Nasita...
@KorandAngels DANGER: Nasita is ran amok by demons, devils, and Azra. You'll need to be careful.
Ishka hides nearby as the group reaches the border. Lilith and Schoren keep their hoods up as they approach the border, and Lim follows close. Two goblins guard the entrance. Draundr is let in, but the others are stopped.
"You three don't look like you're from here..."
Lilith draws her blades, and tries to act tough.
"I've just gotten done in Hitcherald 'running an errand.' I can assure you these blades wear the blood of angels." "Same thing here." Schoren seconds. "Interesting. You can come through, little lady. Same for your, fella!" "I helped this demon in the hunt," Lim boasts somewhat nervously. "Hm... I don't believe you, elf. What clan are you from?"
Nohel tells Ishka to reach out to Lim.
"Tell them you're from the Bloodwood." "I'm in high standing among the Bloodwood," Lim gambits. "I ain't buying it." One of the goblins points a pitchfork at Lim. "You're missing your 'paint.'" "It was worth a try..."
Phase 1 - Infiltration Ishka and Lim need to get through. Will you try to distract the guards? Make a convincing lie? Or will you kill them?
The card target, if anyone makes one, is 12 points. The guards are considered 2/2 goblins.
Where are the guards standing? In a tower, a cave entrance or in the middle of an open field? If the last, what use are the guards? Here's a card anywhere.
Through a mixture of both K'Trinop's and the Demon's hatred along with a mysterious substance, the aspect of rage creates an ephemeral silhouette that takes on the form of the demon. Upon its complete formation, the shadow charges towards K'Trinop's assailant.

As Faer emerges, everyone who came for the mission rendezvous in an abandoned building near the point they entered at, except Wosy, who makes a beeline straight for the towering god.
"When we saw the other gods," Sanova begins, "they were nowhere near this tall. Well, except Gladoise." "That's because we saw their projections," Ferian tells them. "With every god, their power is tied to... something. As for the gods of Stitia, their power is bound to the Beyond. On Stitia, The Six can't use their full power, only projecting their being in a weaker form. Here, though, they're at their full power. That's why the Coming of the Six is such a big deal, and requires something akin to a summoning. They can't just simply descend to Stitia. They have to bring the power with them, which they will do by granting it to their devotees." "That's valuable information," Setra acknowledges. "Anyways... this is starting to get a little above my paygrade," Enerew mutters. "My team and I are going to get to safety and work on the summoning pools. Deicide ain't our area of expertise." "Wimps," Ferian mumbles. "Remember... if you get yourself killed, we get your cut," Sophia warns. "And I get yer drink!" Dekin seconds. "We need people working on the pools," Sanova responds, "but even if we don't kill her, I do see merit in battling this 'Faer'." "Sanova... I'm getting concerned for you," Setra pleas. "You've been very reckless lately. Please don't do this just because you want to protect your pride." "Pride? This has nothing to do with my pride. We can try to test the waters against this foe, try to find their weaknesses." "You stand no chance against such a massive foe," Hemi interjects. "One stroke of that god's blade would reduce you to nothing, I'm sure." "No matter. I'm done with standing idle." Sanova turns and begins to make his way in the direction of Faer. "If anyone else wants to help draw attention away from the scouting party, come along. I won't be waiting."
Strangely, Rafael decides to go, along with Pathos and Onaeca. Byro is lost in contemplation, before deciding to help cause a diversion. Without hesitation, Sanova's closest allies follow him, and Setra and her closest allies make their way with the Mistborn...
@DrakeGladis your part of the story will be continued after I get to Bowler.
@Fallen_Lord_Vulanos@spookoops You make your way towards the towering god with those that decided to come along. Some will attack Faer, while others will help create a diversion below.
Party: - Rafael (FLV), 10 HP - Byro (spookoops), 10 HP - Sanova and a few followers, 5 HP, Attacking - Pathos, 10 HP, Attacking - Onaeca, 5 HP, Causing Chaos - Wosy, 5 HP, Attacking
"You are ignorant to approach me!" You hear Faer yell as she aims her blade at Wosy. Her hands are large enough to crush him. Buildings are destroyed with no remorse as Faer makes her way towards Wosy, and vice versa. "Your ignorance will be punished by death!" "Oh yes... punish me, sweet Faer!" Wosy crudely replies "Kill me even, if you can!"
Enerew's spell from earlier still holds power as Wosy bellows dark flames, cloaking Faer's entire body. It causes visible harm, but it isn't long before a strike knocks Wosy out of the sky.
"Miserable pest. I shall crush you under my feet in the name of The Decider!"
Faer moves swiftly, shaking the Beyond with every quick step as she prepares to stomp on Wosy. However, she is stunted.
"You have never been one to listen to reason... have you?"
Rafael smiles. He had originally prepared a spell to reek havoc, but with the assistance of Nohel and the power that still remained from the assistance of those below, he was able to stop Faer in her tracks. While he is not powerful enough to dominate the god's will, he is able to use the extreme influx of mana to turn her for just a moment. Screams are heard in the distance as Faer slowly stumbles towards the Gods' Chamber, falling and landing nearby.
A trail of flame emerges from below. Despite the near-death experience, it charges towards the god, showering them with fire once again.
Fallen_Lord_Vulganos bought the crew some time with their spell. The scouting team doesn't have to be as careful now.
There are three things each of you can do. Each of you chooses one, then makes a card. You can both choose the same option, or choose different options. The target is 12 points.
- Protect the attackers - Cause Chaos - Attack Faer
@DrakeGladis A loud crash can be heard in the distance as your group makes their way along the evacuation route. The ground shakes with enough force to knock everyone off balance. Dekin stumbles, then yelps as he trips over his beard.
You turn, and you see an angel catch Dekin. "When you get back here, I want that beard cut."
You can tell that this angel bears an eminence unlike the others. One of power, and an adamant will to face evil.
"This beard's's old as me!" Dekin replies. "It's like a child!" "Suit yourself then," the angel sternly states. "All of you leave. I'll have this problem of ours taken care of in no time."
You continue on, approaching a portal that leads back to Stitia, when you take cover in an empty building.
"Dekin... watch your tone next time," Sophia scorns. "So, boss... what now?" Ferian seems desperate to see some action. "Same plan as before, and a simple one at that," Jacob reminds the group. "Find some water." "You think there'd be more water around here," Hemi responds. "Yeah," Sophia begins. "They'd have to have it somewhere. I'm sure they need holy water... wait..." Sophia pauses for a moment. "That's it!" "Um... how much water we need?" Ferian asks. "Because I'm sure a little bottle isn't big enough."
"Cheeheh... you'd be surprised."
You turn, and a leonin in spy uniform faces you, his face completely covered.
"And you are?" "Just a Maviol spy." "H-how did you get into the Beyond?!"
"Heh. Anyone bring a flask?" Everyone checks, when they realize that Dekin snuck in a flask, which is now empty. "It's preferred we have an open body of water to work with, but a bottle would work if we pass through one at a time... and assume the bottle doesn't get messed up." "Huh... neat," Ferian says, nodding in agreeance. "We could get that at the Armory." "S***," Dekin blurts out. "Looks like this'll be fun after all!" "If we be raiding a damned armory, we bets doit now!" "You mean best?"
Ferian leads the way as you head towards the armory.
"I'm pretty sure I remember exactly where it was. Some things have changed, but I remember my last visit like it was yesterday." "Remember the gift of our gods," the spy says. "Our aqueous form should make this infiltration much smoother."
It takes a couple hours of travel time to get as far as you have gone, but you still haven't reached the armory.
"How much longer will this be?" Sophia pleads. "We should be about an hour away on foot," Ferian chimes. "No one said this was going to be quick," the spy says. "Pathos made it sound easy," Dekin complains.
About 45 minutes pass when you come across what seems to be a gateway.
"Alright... who's peeking?" Ferian asks. "Hmph... why not me, of course?" The spy says snidely. "Watch and learn."
The spy turns aqueous, slipping through a small crack in the wall. A few minutes pass, when suddenly, you hear a slight thud. Blood trails from the other side of the wall in two pools, and the spy returns to hide the bodies. He then gives a thumbs up gesture, holds a finger over his mouth, then motions everyone to come along.
"We aren't even in the armory yet," Ferian moans.
It's taken your group about an hour to get where you are, using your aqueous forms to move through the area silently and subtly. So far, you haven't come across anyone else. However, you soon notice a single guard standing alone. Everyone keeps an eye out for reinforcements while the spy silently takes care of-
"HYAH!"
A lance strikes the leonin down. Everyone turns to see a guard accompanied by a flock of birds.
"I knew something was amiss. Angels! State your purpose with this interloper! I know you're with him!"
Create a card to deal with the Angel peacefully or that can deal with an attacking Mage of the White Wing and their tokens. The target is 12 points.
@TAHMURAS The necromancer sends a zombified werecat at you. It snarls, swatting a claw at you somewhat clumsily. You push it away, and decide to call upon an ally.
As you summon an elf to assist you, they take a slightly demonic form. They nod, as though they know why you called them. The werecat attacks them, but a shimmering ball of fire intercepts them. The werecat is wounded greatly, but it isn't enough to kill it as it begins to maul the elf. You aid them, knocking the werecat to the ground with a savage punch, and the elf finishes them. Then, they set their sights on the necromancer.
The necromancer quickly summons another werecat to protect him. This one is stronger, and wastes no time striking the elf again. The elf falls, but with a well timed blast of fire, the necromancer is wounded. The werecat pummels the elf, biting and clawing and tearing away at them. With the elf's final breath, she manages to blast a small hole in the werecat's face. but it isn't lethal to it.
It's just you against the necromancer now. The zombie turns to swipe at you, but you strike where it's wounded, shattering its skull and killing it. The necromancer finally stands back up, on the brink of death, and tries to summon more zombies, but he can't. He swings at you with his staff, but it breaks as you block the attack. You knock the necromancer down, and he is left within an inch of his life, caught in your stranglehold. Surprisingly, the necromancer is a living human, so you bite into his neck and drink his life away...
With nothing else to do, you ponder for a few. Is it true that the Bloodwood Hometree is gone? You're tempted to investigate. Alternately, what's this about the world ending? Maybe you could find someone who knew a little more.

Here's a card anywhere.
