Until Season V...farewell! Gnash will not make a return, but she will forever be in my heart. She brought upon me the will to try loads of new designs. Now...time to draft factions for Season V...
@HeroKP Back and making cards again. I'm almost done with my 5 color Pantheon too, just have Temur, the four color combinations, and the five color left to do. I have an idea for Temur and five color just working on art and wording.
"To the one that succeeds me, I wish to express my condolences. I thought that all those who came before me were akin to gods. Though their names all vanished in the end, they lived on as legends. I wonder if I shall be a legend as well, or just another name lost to the flow of time.
"To the one that follows in my footsteps, I hope you did not make my mistake. I became greedy for power, and worked to overthrow Serise, who came before me. If you did make my mistake, I am now not very fond of you, since that means you killed me, and I'm going to haunt you.
"And to all those that come after I do, work to make our society of Stargazers the best it can be. We must strive to excel. I fear I will not see many more days, and if this is true, then I must live each day to its fullest. Do the same, for you never know when your tale may end.
"Every story has an ending. Make yours a satisfying one. Perhaps one day I, too, shall become just another nameless legend in this book. Maybe someday the youth of the future will see my words, and laugh and mock me as a senile old man. But until the day I become nameless, this is Chulane, signing off."
Marigold shuts the Tome of Stars with a loud thud, and sets down the pen she'd been using to write the translated passage. She gets up from her seat and leaves her room, walking out on onto the balcony. The wind was blowing fiercely, but she paid it no mind. She leans her head back to stare up at the night sky, glimmering with the same stars it always did. In this time of turmoil, of radical shifts in structure and safety, the sky always remained the same.
"Now what're you doing up?" Marigold whips her head around to see Duke walking to join her on the balcony, using his staff more like a cane. There was a time the man walked proudly, but today he seemed feeble and old. He stands by her side and looks up at the sky. "Beautiful, isn't it? Warms my heart to know that no matter what happens to us, the stars will never move. Even when this is all over, whether we win or lose, the sky won't change." A wry smile stretches across his thin lips. "I think it's about time I stepped down. Leading a nation is a young person's game, and one I'm far too old for at this point. Marigold, I have the utmost faith that you will lead us."
The girl nods solemnly, accepting the heavy responsibility that now weighed on her shoulders, and her shoulders alone. "You know what his final words were, Duke?" The old man turns his head to look at the leader beside him. "He said we should always strive to excel. And that, as our leader, I must work to make the Stargazer Society the best it can be." As tears stream down her cheeks, she raises her voice. "For too long, we've accepted the stars in the sky as unmoving objects, like some kind of uncaring deity we merely borrow strength from. I say no more. No more will we allow the stars and the constellations to passively stand idly by while we fight for our lives."
"When the sun sets on tomorrow, there will be only one nation to rule this land. But today, when we fight for victory or die trying, the sky will not merely be a spectator." Marigold rises her hand up high in a fist, and the sun begins to rise over the horizon, bathing the Red Giant in its warm glow. But the stars that dotted the night sky did not fade. If anything they shined brighter than ever before, defiant rebels in the sun's oppression.
"On this day, we shall move the stars themselves!!"
Whatever happens, it has been an absolute honor to make it this far with you @AxNoodle and @everyone else who participated.
The final stand inside these lands, We write the stories of other bands.
The Astrals led by Luna and Ren, Starting the stars to align again. The Drones of Gnash, the stolen from all. Now stolen of you. They heed our call. We finish off with your own Tale. Aligning the stars that shall not fail.
For future people on this plane, Our story is told over again.
First of all, before the big winner is announced, we would like to hand the prize for BEST CARD TO BE ENTERED (not counting secret lore) to @AxNoodle with MASTERY OF THE SKIES with NINETEEN points out of TWENTY!
It might not be big and flashy, but it has a very neat hoo-hoo-ha-ha-esque effect that both I and @EnvyReaper were impressed by way back when. We still weren't very sure about this 'tale' mechanic, and this card proved its potential, and in no small part helped you get thus far.
This said, however the winner of the fourth season of COLONISERS is........
This was a very close fight to grade, but @Lujikul won out in the end because of the grand adventure they brought us along to, that I am sure everyone loved watching develop. Experience with the series has, in no small part, also played a giant role in this, since they have participated in every season to date!
We will enjoy having you in the all-stars battle.
Everyone else, thanks a huge lot for participating, and we will hopefully see you in future seasons! For anyone interested, the new season will be going up in 48 HOURS to catch the traffic of people coming back from christmas.
Thank you for the experience, to everyone who entered earlier in the other seasons and congratulations to @Lujikul for winning. I won’t be competing in the next season, but I will be watching, as it is always interesting to see how it goes.
Oh, bounteous squirrel! I believe all is said and done on this season right here. If you could see it fit to close this, please, I would be most grateful.

This will be a hard to judge!
I'd like to apologize for disappearing way back then--school was getting into crunch mode and I unfortunately just didn't have the time.
Good luck to all!
No problem!
