@Je_Suis_Oluwa First off, thanks for the contest and the feedback!
However, I don't see the connection to Unclaimed Territory (though, tbf, the theme is a kin to what I was going for). Unclaimed Territory is either 1 colorless for whatever, or 1 of any color for that creature, where as Constructed Fort is only 2 possible colors, but are for anything, with the creature getting a discount if its the first on cast in a turn, regardless of if your using that land or not to cast it (was original for all creatures of that type, but it was arguably a bit OP).
As regards to "[making] mana and [reducing] it as well," yeah, its a bit weird. There were two reasons for this. One, balance, your exchanging a [presumably, basic] land that can only produce one type of mana for a land that can produce 2 types, and you are getting a discount on a creature type. The second is to add a bit of flavor, you're essentially tearing down the resources of a land to build up fortifications.
Still, thanks again for the feedback and the contest, though there were some minor frustrations with trying to make the card balance, this was fun! Thank you!
@theran_baggins The idea was that both lands produce mana that is oriented towards a particular tribe. Yours was good too, and Unclaimed Territory had what I felt was better execution.
@Je_Suis_Oluwa Oh, ok, yeah I agree that thematically they relate (which makes since, Unclaimed Territory did provide some inspiration in that regard when I was making it). I was reading you comment more in regards to mechanics, my b. Regardless, thanks for the feedback.
