@Everyone Challenges Rubric: 1) Will happen once a week, unless enough feedback is given for otherwise. 2) Consists of usually 1-2 cards of a specific nature or to counter a specific nature. 3) Judging happens approximately six days after the challenge has commenced.
Week #1, Challenge #1: 1) Create one artifact Equipment card, to use as a weapon for your character.
"You are tasked with creating your own weapon on the spot from a variety of resources at your disposal, given to you by the staff of the event. You have a wide array of tools at your disposal. The question is what will you build to show your abilities at creating fine gear."
Frieda is no stranger to weapon forging. The endless battles against countless enemies in Kaldheim's frontier lands breaks any weapon sooner or later, so the warriors there must know how to keep their steel in shape.
Since she must create a new weapon for herself, Frieda crafts a blade that is very similar to her original. A well-balanced longsword, perfect weapon for a skilled veteran. As she tests the finished product with a few smooth swings, her thoughts move to her partner, Gudrik ( @Temurzoa. ) What weapon would that bard forge for himself?
Xiphos sighed. Creating things wasn't even close to his specialty, but not creating them - or in other words, creating "un-things" - was. Gathering raw unformulated energy, he rent a medium-sized hole in the world, stabilizing it and giving it form. His weapon was done.
To make his flute, Thurin didn't really need anything much. He grabbed a stick and a small knife, and started hollowing out the stick. Then he cut holes in the top very carefully. Then he attached a small twig to the side and put his amulet on it to imbue the flute with his magic so he could cast his spells.
The Phoenix spent hours crafting her ultimate weapon. She had made it quite long ago, in fact, she had made many things to help her if danger would arise. Pele used this gem of fire to channel her fiery energy.
