He’s actually immortal but that’s not the topic at hand. See, I’m a child and need sleep, so your first challenge/room is tomorrow. Squeak in an entry by then and you’re good.
@SammySammyson Vita wants to converse with Azuteth, so she creates a basic empathy spell to get simple points across, despite the language differences. Azuteth knows her name and stuff now.
You’re brought into Syr Grym’s dining hall, and everybody is served a different meal. (I’ll send those next one), but each meal has something... distinct. They may be hard to stomach.

Athmel was puzzled when he realized that his treasured spellbook, which was in his arms this entire time, was gone. Ever since he was 16, he never lost it once, and it contained every spell he has learned since then.
"Heavens! Where could it have gone? I just closed it mere moments ago..."
Athmel tries to leave the room, but the door is locked. He tries to cast a spell on the door, but a magic boon, in part with his lack of experience with the lockpicking spell, halts his efforts. Flustered, he sits back down, when he remembers one of his most important spells, one for locating magical items. He tries to sense the location of his spellbook, but a strange force in the mansion meddles with the spell. Eyes closed, he does eventually locate the book... about 50 feet away and coming towards him. He opens his eyes, but all he sees is a group of servers approaching with silver platters. As the plates are set down, he realizes that something is... very much off.
"Erm... Syr Grym, was it? What is the meaning of this?"
Syr Grym doesn't respond. Athmel looks down and notices the spellbook... Cooked and cut into pieces...
"How did they break the enchantment? And... why? Is this supposed to be some kind of tomfoolish prank?"
He checks the book, and everything checks out. The book is certainly his very own spellbook. He tries to take a moment to pull the book apart and read the pages, but he is interrupted by a guard. He is demanded to eat it.
"You... want me... to eat it?"
The guard didn't ask nicely. His weapon was aimed at Athmel's neck.
"Why? This is lunacy! Lunacy I tell y-"
As Athmel stands to storm out of the room, he is surrounded.
"This... is the strangest thing I've seen. And I've seen a lot."
Against his will, Athmel sits back down and attempts to ingest the book, gagging the entire time on the scorched silk pages and the knawy leather case. He uses a spell to make it taste like strawberries, but even that doesn't help much. Secretly, he is preparing to planeswalk away, but he has no confidence he'll be able to ready the spell before things get a lot worse...
Vita looks down in confusion at the pile of mossy, mildewed wood that she slowly recognises as pieces of the sunken boat that she has made her home. After it becomes clear that she has to eat it, she simply licks off the slime and freezes the wood into a few blocks of ice with wood in the middle.
Soon, Niyan was woken from his catnap by the dinner bell chiming. The strange group wandered into the dining hall, where they were directed to their seats. They waited a few minutes, and then the meals were brought out. Niyan looked down at his plate. There was what looked like a book, singed at the edges and cut into pieces as though it had been cooked and prepared to be eaten. But then Niyan took a closer look. "Oh, crap." he muttered as he grabbed his bag only to find that his journal, which contained the sum knowledge of all he had gathered on monsters and beasts of all kinds, was gone. He had no idea when it had been taken from his bag, but he peeled open some of the pages, and sure enough, there were diagrams and words he remembered writing with his own hands. It was apparent that he had to eat it. It was incredibly difficult to stomach the leather and paper, and he tried not to think about what exactly was going down his throat. After he finally got it all down, he felt sick. His host had just forced him to consume his most prized posession. But that's when he realized: This was all part of the vampire's plan. After all, he had a large section on vampires in that book. Most of the general stuff, weaknesses, ways to spot, stuff like that, was all stored in his brain, but a large majority of the information was very specific stuff that he didn't have memorized. Now, without that information, it would be much harder to really figure out his host and his motives and plans. And Niyan figured that was his intention, to create a roadblock in Niyan's way on the path to figuring out what the purpose of this place really was.
(Warning: I was pretty sure there wasn't much "Piece of a book on a plate" art, so I cobbled the art together in Photoshop. It doesn't look pretty, but it gets the point across)
As you can see, Niyan is highly suspicious of Syr Grym, regardless of if he actually has sinister intentions or not. You can be sure that your resident detective will be investigating further.

Sitting in the dark all evening last night helped a lot, so I'm hoping when I do the same tonight that I'll be okay tomorrow.
And now I vanish into the night
