Honestly I find that doing something different with your entry then you would normally see in MTG would actually improve your chances of winning.
As long as it's balanced, the more creative you get the better your chances are.

That was a typo, fixed it (it kept on autofilling spookoops whenever I tried to type something, and I forgot which card I was supposed to be typing XD)
I can't find your sliver on mtgcs and your image isn't showing up for me.
