Wow the traductor got a bit confused by some details on the card, especially the genders x) It's pretty funky, here's my best try at translating it back:

    _____

    In Order to Make Uninterrupted

    Sorcery

Flip target artefact card of your graveyard to the battlefield. He becomes a creature of artefact 0/0. To put three 1/1 scorers on her.
    _____

You said it was a first attempt so maybe you want some hints on how to correct it before getting a full correction?
  • Thank you @NingyouNK!! I would appreciate that!
  • @Corwinnn

    Here are some hints:

    - While "retournez" is a direct translation of "return", in this context it sounds more like you're trying to cook your card medium rare, two minutes on each side. In French, we'd use the verb "renvoyer". I'll let you conjugate it correctly ;)

    - In conversational French people would understand "de votre cimetière" but in MTG they use the more specific "depuis votre cimetière" that specifically signals provenance.

    - Cards are female. Please, don't ask how we know that. Use "elle" (=she) to replace "it" when referring to a card.

    - In French you can't put two nouns next to each other and tell one he's kind of an adjective now, like English does. We prefer to put dashes between words and pretend they look like one word. So "artifact creature" is "créature-artefact."

    - "Mettre" needs to be conjugated. Since cards are kind of dicks bossing people around with all their rules, they use imperative. However, don't forget that cards are *polite* dicks so they talk to you using a plural form, a mark of respect in French.

    - Everyone would understand what you mean by "compteur +1/+1" if you talk to some french player, but the precise MTG word used on a card would be "marqueur" instead.

    Good luck! :)
  • Thanks for your help @ningyounk.

Juste une question , sur le Dévoreur de noms , la carte nommée conserve t-elle son type ou perd t-elle toutes les autres capacités qu'elle possède ?

    @EmolgAn

    EDIT: In english!

Actually that's a good question! I was saying above that I took a templating shortcut from a playtest card in the Mystery Boosters, but technically you should have separated abilities for cards on the battlefield and in other zones to avoid having a land on the stack if you flash in Eater of Names and name a card on the stack. But what do you all think would happen?

    1) The land enters the battlefield from the stack, like a spell.
    2) The land is "countered" and goes to the graveyard as a land cannot be on the stack.
    3) The game just crashes.

I think 3) happens but I might be wrong xD
  • Si elle perd ses capacités, il faut alors le préciser.
  • @EmolgAn
Ah yeah, my bad, I originally based the templating on Blood Moon. I thought that if you didn't specify "in addition to its other types and abilities" it would replace the existing text:

But I just looked into the Comprehensive Rules and I found out it's a perk of lands, there's a specific rule that says they lose their abilities if they gain a basic land type. So I ended up taking inspiration from Imprisoned in the Moon instead:

Thanks! I corrected the card in the original post^^
  • @ningyouNK
    How is this?

  • @Corwinnn

    - "Renvoyer" need to be conjuged in "Renvoyez", because we use the conjuged verb in our cards. Same for "Mettre" who become "Mettez"

    - We precise if it's +1/+1 or -1/-1

    - We can't combine an u and an a, like english , so "la utilite" becomes "l'utilite".

  • @Corwinnn The card becomes very cool, I only see two errors:

    - As same as "de l'utilité" , "de artefact" can't be writted because of an e and a can't be writed. It becomes "d'artefact"

    - We say "Mettez" not "Mettrez".
  • Thank you! I'm on it!
  • Final Versions

  • Oh, I just see it but "target" just vanished between the two cards !
"Return traget artifact card" becomes "Renvoyez la carte d'artefact ciblée"
  • Thanks @EmolgAn - I'm off for a bit.. I'll try to change it later!
