Since every Peasant currently in the game either interacts with or has an adventure in Naya colors, I decided to go with the current tribal identity (insofar as about five cards can provide such a thing). Regardless, making the adventure cards is pretty neat. Here we go:
First of all I just want to thank everyone who participated in my Get Rustic! challenge. There were so many beautifully crafted entries, which made it quite difficult to parse out. You guys rock!
You came out of nowhere right at the end, and boy was it clutch. You opted for a more traditional approach to Peasants, and it worked for you! The cards are pristine in their formatting, and I appreciate the amount of effort it takes to make those Adventure cards. The choice of art, as well as the flavor texts, just beautiful. I could seriously imagine these seeing print.
Alot of folks (including myself) have attempted the "angry mob" trope. The use of Revolt was a really nice touch, and really set this apart. It plays quite nicely with Shepherd of the Meek, which in terms of flavor, aesthetic, and mechanics might be my favorite of your entries. Great overall designs and flavor.
Looking at your cards brought a smile to my face. This one in particular, what a little story we have here! All three have such a lovely vibe, like walking into a Miyazaki film. Other entries were stronger in terms of mechanics, and yours edged out a couple excellent entries on the strength of your flavor aesthetic. I couldn't help myself, I fell in love with these cards. Beautiful work!
This was a strong entry, and I really dug the grimier side here. Not all peasants have to be bucolic field-hands.. These are great cards, with a very unique take on the archetype of peasants, and I could see it being a design space for alot more peasants. Who would have thought black and blue? ____________________________________________________________________________
Shout out to @Scott_Anderson for making me laugh, and having the only Peasant planeswalker. Nice.
Shout out to @CnBCustoms For another very unique take on Peasants. Exploit worked beautifully, but I wasn't sure if Tatyana was balanced enough for my liking.
Congratulations @MemoryHead, congratulations to everyone!
@Rayne-Lord you definitely picked the correct winner. I can't believe there is even flavor text on the card. It's a work of art and a work of engineering.
Congrats @Everyone! @Rayne-Lord it's funny that you mention Studio Ghibli in relation to my entries, since I'm pretty sure the art for Rustic Wanderer is actually Yakul and Ashitaka from Princess Mononoke

Just a reminded entry closes tomorrow, and I try and have my results out by the evening.
Hold for results.
