"I'm smarter than you, you must realize. Out the door with you other people." The magically bound people floated out of the castle, leaving Janti alone, still floating. "I am a Cryptomancer, a mage who specializes in casting spells from paper. I had that spell written down preemptively." He showed him a piece of paper. "And I am a Necromancer and Algomancer."

"Pleased to meet you. I am Veinguin Blackblood, the brother of the law's pet. And you are?" "Janti. Now tell your jackass brother to let go of me!" "Most certainly." He grabbed Tenguin by the waist and threw him across the room. Tenguin stopped himself in midair, just before he was to run straight into the wall. Janti fell, falling evenly on his paws. "Well ok then." Janti looked at him. He was afraid of him, but he kept that to himself. "Oh, don't be afriad of me. You'll only make me stronger." To demonstrate, he ripped off a pillar of the wall and threw it out the door, which Tenguin stopped. "That's enough. The Champion's Dinner will be at nine, sharp. I suggest you all rest up for the storm that will soon be coming." Tenguin walked away, with Veinguin following, sort of.
"Brother, a fight has broken out in a tavern and there appear to be some contestants involved" Said a nicely dressed, yet dangerous looking blonde female to the male looking out the window. She seemed concerned, yet the man just continued looking out the stained glass window. "Zurel! There is a fight! Did you hear me?"
Zurel chuckled. "Yes Ella, I heard you. I'll get down there I suppose." Zurel turned around and started towards the door, flashing a brilliant smile to Ella. Ella stepped in front of him, seemingly having a problem. "Problem, sister?" Zurel asked "Just a second ago you seemed to want me to get there rather quickly."
Ella glared at him and stammered out "I- Uh Yeah! Get out there and deal with the situation! You just don't seem to be taking this very seriously." Ella turned and started walking out the door, Zurel followed. "Taking what seriously? It's a tournament, it's supposed to be fun!" Ella continued walking, taking a more firm position after this comment.
"In the absence of a king, you are one of the rulers of this kingdom, you should be taking this seriously." Ella stated. Zurel chuckled again. "It's still important to have fun in times like these. Even for you, might I suggest making friends with a contender? Perhaps the future ruler of the kingdom!" He said, laughing heartily. Ella turned around, glaring at him, then her face softened and she let out a little giggle.
"There you go sister. Now I have a bar fight to stop. Zurel said, walking off, leaving her left in the ornate hallway.
Zurel approached the warriors, 2 humans and a fox, noticing a slight shimmer in the air next to the human contestant, but thinks nothing of it. "Hello there Tenguin! My uncle, my friend! What seems to be the problem?"
"These fellows here were disrupting the peace, so I made them pay" Tenguin said sternly. "You know the laws as I do". Zurel nodded, but made a surprising comment to the foreigners. "Ahh, let them go uncle, they're new here. A bit of.. riff raff can't be unexpected." Tenguin sighed, and trotted off on top of his steed.
"Welcome my friends, you must be contestants! I am Zurel, eldest son of the former king, may he rest in peace. I am one of the leaders in charge of the kingdom and the tournament." Zurel said, returning any money that they had to have paid up. "Apologies for the inconvenience, but you 3 started quite the trouble out here! I would punish you but it's all in good fun, we'll get any injuries from this fixed up, just watch your way around here. Good day my new friends!" He said before turning around and making his way back to the castle.
After an hour of meditation, Janti decided to go on a walk around the city. After about 25 minutes, he came across a nice girl, who was clearly noble.Seeming in a rush, she dropped some papers, which he immediately picked up and handed back to her. "Why thank you good sir!"She told him politely. "My pleasure, m'lady."He answered, the gifting sword on his back(Not the one he fights with) starting to glow. "Wait a minute, good sir, aren't you the good king of the Azumas?"She asked him. "Ah, yes.Speaking of recognition, I feel like I recognize you?" "Ah, well yes, you did have trouble with my brothers."She told him, no expression in her face, but Janti could still read her. "It was of no problem, Ella, am I right?" "Yes, yes you are right." "Care to accompany me on my walk, m'lady?" "It would be my honor."
