  I want to point out that the hyena is gruul, and Temza is selesnya.
  And Hym is the actual planeswalker, but takes Temza along with him.

  Also, there are two levels of kytinn.
  
  Highlands:
  Nicer, where more people live, not as many beasts, where most hyenas hang out.
  
  Deeplands:
  
  Scarier, not as many "citizens", tons of horrors, ghosts, nightmares, and other beasts. Not necessarily evil, so make sure to include kind deeplanders as well.

  I personally think the Highlands would be for the sophisticated places, like kingdoms with actual governmental structure and a working economy... Something like Riyin from TBK.

  That is mostly what the highlands is, but certain hyena sub-factions are quite sophisticated. And also, economy wouldn't be much of it as the highlands would be tribal as well, seeing as the deeplands could easily be renamed He**. 
  Not that the deeplands is evil, it's just not where your everyday humanoid wants to live.
