  DM was a mouse who lived in a hidden part of the village where rumors said that there were mutant human rats. Which wasn't true, because they were only hyper-intelligent mice. And so, when the time came, the Three Blind Mice (their council) decided that DM should go to find this treasure. He wanted to refuse, but now was the time to act.
