  • DM begins eating the flower.
"We make special medicines from this type of flower! This'll heal us when we are not almost alive!"
  • edited May 2020
"We chew it up into mush, mix it with water, and BOOM!" The boom came out louder than Tachanka thought he was capable of yelling. "Medicine."
*DM chews it up and spits it into his very small water horn.*
"I'm being helpful already, right? Yes, I am."
  • Tachanka stops praying, stares at the mouse, and the tosses his knife right above it's head.
"Oh great Void, help me in this journey."
  • But then The-DM spits out the flower. It tastes... different. The flower suddenly fully blooms, and then, growing vines, and growing teeth...

  • I don't mean to be rude, but the mechanic is a little...
  • I couldn't think of anything else.
  • Maybe:
Chlorophyll 3(At the beginning of your upkeep, put a +1/+1 counter on this spell. If it has 3 counters on it, instead sacrifice it.)

    @SNAPcreator7, he goes by DM.

    Also:

"That's a weird plant. TO WAR, MY FRIENDS!" The mouse charges the plant, and begins to hack it to pieces. The plant lunges at him, but he dodges and stabs it through it's mouth, the sword going out through the back of it's head. The mouse back up quickly, and jumps on it's back and begins to stab it repetitively. DM jumps off, and slices it across its (legs?
  • The Abomination shrieks and then forms one of it's vines into a razor sharp blade.
  • And then it swings it at DM.
  • I have to go but we can resume later.
  • Scacco would've warned the mouse about the flesh-eating plant, but he was busy blazing the trail to their destination. Hearing the sounds of battle, tho, the lizard hops off landing on a tree branch. Taking his time to prepare a good shot, he readies his bow to shoot whenever deemed necessary.
  • Thanks to his finesse, DM dodges the plant and slices the vine off.

(Just to clear up any misunderstanding, DM is the size of a human. He is a wererat, and the only spell he knows is to change size. Right now, he is small. The spell can only target him or anything that he is carrying, such as his clothes, weapons, and equipment.)
  • Tachanka continues to pray

  • "A little help, would suffice, scary animal who won't do anything!"
  • The praying pays off.
The air itself rips open, and out of it a 1-time spellbook appears in Tachanka's hands.
Muttering an incantation, a strange essence appears and charges at the plant.

  • He's using Cantrip 3
  • The plant swings at the dream, but can't touch it. Sadly, since the plant doesn't have a mind, the dream can't affect it. Tachanka curses, and then tosses his old knife at the plants head.
  • The plant's head gets hit with the knife, but it appears that normal weapons wont harm this creature.

@SNAPcreator7 : DM pulls out some flint and steel and sets it on fire.
    "HA HA, PLANT. DIE!!"
  • The plant screams, and then burns. A few minutes later, it's silent. There's just a pile of Ashes on the ground.
  • DM gathers the ashes into a pouch.

"Oh yeah. We were supposed to burn the plant first, them mix it with water. My bad."
  • Tachanka sighs again.
  • The ashes still are squirming around in DM's Pouch.
  • You start to walk again. About 2 hours more of Travel, and you find ruins, of an old gate. There's skeleton's laying around, of many different animals, and you can tell that the skeletons are old, as moss has grown over most of them. You walk around the ruins and find a small indent in the ground. Next to the indent the words: "Escape hatch" You could tell that this was for groundhogs, but now it's filled up.
  • Tachanka sheds a tear. His godmother was a groundhog. She had died in the great war. His godfather still wasn't allowed out of the asylum.
  • Luckily, the Groundhogs had burrowed out another hole close by. Tachanka could tell that most of them were alive.
  • Tachanka gives his signature grin, and calls out to them.
  • "Hey! Scary animal! I can change my size. You want me to go down one of the hole? Investigate, right?"
