@LordTachanka123 it's more of an attack trigger. I don't know enough of the relevant rules to provide a definite answer, but it seems more of an attack trigger.
My guild is most certainly Simic! I'll come up with my starting cards within the next few days if that's ok @SarkhanVig.
A few questions: 1. Can the cards be made on software other than mtgcs? 2. What exactly do you mean by "Army?" "Magic?" I'm a little confused about this.
If anyone is doing Rakdos, here's a suggestion for a new keyword:
Spontaneous [Cost] (When a spell you cast fails to resolve, you may cast this spell for its spontaneous cost. This spell cannot be countered if you paid its spontaneous cost to cast it.)
Vraska is gone. Jarad is dead. The spirit of Svogthir has gone silent. The guild is confused and shook after the events of War of the Spark. A strange atmosphere rules the Undercity. What will happen now?
A tall elegant figure stands in front of a large crowd that has gathered around Svogthos, the Golgari guild hall. Well over a dozen of thin snake-like tails curl around her head as she speaks to the people of the Undercity. She has their attention. She knows it and she wants to seize the opportunity. She will be the new leader of the Swarm! But maybe she's wrong... A whisper suddenly runs though the crowd as the people notice another mysterious figure approaching the speaker. The gorgon turns around just in time to see an attacker incoming with a short knife in his hand. The man slashes for her throat but she jumps away at the last second. The gorgon hisses in anger as she looks at the hooded figure boldly facing her. "You are never going to rule this guild, Verrana," the man proclaims calmly. "And who are you to tell me that?" Verrana answers with spite. The man says nothing more and attacks again, but his thrust is dodged again. "Look me in the eyes and say it again," Verrana hisses as her gaze intensifies. Every person in the crowd knows what is happening. But the man doesn't look away. And that seems to be his demise. A few seconds of silence pass and as the gorgon looks away, she leaves only a cold statue behind. She turns back to the crowd. A few people laugh briefly, the others are dead silent. But as Verrana opens her mouth to speak again a bright light shines behind her and momentarily blinds the audience. When she turns around, she finds herself staring into the bright shining eyes of a man made of stone. His joints burn with the same blue light and so does the man's chest. There is no time to run. Verrana feels a tight grip around her neck, cold as death itself. She tries to scream, but the freezing fingers snap her neck and a dead body drops to the floor. Now it is only silence. The stone man steps over the body of his former opponent and speaks to the terrified yet overwhelmed crowd, his voice deep and dark as the voice of a cavern. "I am Daelus. I am here to lead you, shall you accept my lead. And if you do... we shall rise."
https://mtgcardsmith.com/view/daelus-soul-unbroken https://mtgcardsmith.com/view/withstand-the-gaze So, this is Daelus, the man that survived a gorgon's stare. He is the current leader of the Golgari, who were amazed by his act and thought of it as a miracle. I am not going to write about his past or anything now, because I feel like I've written more than enough for now. That was an excerpt showcasing Daelus's rise to power. I hope you liked it, I am not a native speaker, but I do what I can. More cards from the reformed Golgari coming soon.
(disclaimer: the art is not really how I imagine Daelus to look like, but I swear I was searching for a fitting artwork for about 15 minutes and I haven't wound anything better)
EDIT: I've fixed the card's name and found a more fitting artwork, although it is still not perfect for how I see Daelus in my head.
EDIT 2: I also included a sort of "story spotlight" card to showcase Daelus's story
What little semblance of order in the Cult of Rakdos shattered. With Rakdos's pride hurt and Judith somewhere*, the Rakdos dissolved into 'troupes.' As the troupes slaughtered each other to decide who would become the new 'ringleader.' As the skirmishes (in the format of two opposing troupes performing it out) continued on, Madam Mayhem came out on top, providing the most thrilling and chaotic of performances. Though many have tried to kill her from unacceptance of her as the new Ringleader, they were all used in the wicked acts, either as a performer or a 'spectacle-gone-wrong.'
Madam Mayhem's performances massacre the conscious and destroy ones morals. Thanks to the new guildmages of Rakdos, the Troupes are especially good at making one an uncontrollable brute.
\_.-~<*>~-._/
The reformed Troupes of Rakdos have little care for their well-being (both mentally and physically, hence the effects with discarding, creature death/sacrifice, and self-mill and loss of life), and exist only as chaos factors in one's daily life. Most of the guild has small creatures to later sacrifice, when a player casts larger creatures. The higher costing cards will be 'showstoppers' of different degrees based on CMC (High, in my opinion, is a CMC of 5 or more).
*Honestly, I have no idea what happened to Judith. I even tried to figure out what happened to her post-WAR.
**There may or may not be more need to be added on.
https://mtgcardsmith.com/view/korozda-reapers https://mtgcardsmith.com/view/rise-of-the-swarm https://mtgcardsmith.com/view/boneblade Welcome the inhabitants of the Undercity and their new mechanic - Recycle. This ability showcases the new mentality of the Golgari. They will stop at nothing and they will go over dead bodies, only profiting from each fallen ally, as they are the only ones able to reuse the dead and use them for their advantage. This also reflects the character and story of their new leader Daelus, as he also could not be stopped. It is supposed to be on theme with all of the other Golgari mechanics we've seen so far, but kind of not corresponding well with the rest of them, since the guild has gone through a lot of changes throughout the years of their existence and the frequent changing of the guildleader.

Izzet is not taken.
Is Rubblecall always attack trigger, or add g/r action?

Thanks! (:
Magic: A certain spell representing the 'reformed' guild, I think. As for army, I don't know.
Apologies, but could you describe army more in detail?
I'm pretty sure I already claimed simic
Sadly, I won't be able to do this challenge in any case. Other projects and school take their toll. Good luck everyone! (:

I am doing Rakdos, and I already have a keyword.
I really don't know. I just did.
Also, Finale? Nice reference.
...
Reference to what?

Uh... Unbronken?
Gooood damnit, of course it's supposed to say "Unbroken". I totally missed that, thanks
Edit: fixed
