After a long wait, here is my leader Meriele! While not the "leader" of the Simic Combine in the traditional sense (Vannifar is still prime speaker, and the speaker's chamber still rules the simic), Meriele is in charge of the small but very influential Abyssal Clade, who focus on studying the results of other Simic clades and investigating the world around them. For her part, Meriele is just as curious and inquisitive as the rest of her clade, taking meticulous notes on almost every experiment she does and every place she visits.
Expect to see the mechanical ramifications of the Abyssal Clade's influence in the coming days.
And no, she is not the dimir spy. They have... already been taken care of.
Some more fun facts about Meriele:
-She has no idea where she actually was born, but assumes she's a simic experiment of some kind. She's right, of course, but she still has no idea who "created" her and why.
-Meriele has actually been in several guilds before the Simic before leaving due to a drive to experiment and see the wild. These guilds have included the Gruul (albeit in a very unofficial capacity when she was very young), and the Izzet. She still has contacts in these guilds (especially the latter one, which she only recently left).
-Meriele is especially in love with ooze creatures and Lizrogs. Her favorite krasis is a Seeker Lizrog (he he he) named Zam, who is her pet and loyal companion.

Introducing the draft uncommon for the Simic Combine, the Seeking Lizrog! With this new Lizard Frog comes the Simic guild mechanic: Analyze! Analyze plays into the +1/+1 theming of the Combine by having abilities activate off creatures getting +1/+1 counters. The Seeking Lizrog facilitates this by being able to give creatures +1/+1 counters by paying mana.
Please don't mind the art. I'm currently waiting to find better art, so I'm using their cousins for now.
