As Jael and the rest of the Four Seasons Kingdom passed through the boundary between Razier and Nemain, they looked out upon beuatiful natural scenery as far as the eye could see. Jael could tell that this was going to be a wonderful new home for his people, spacious and plentiful in resources. But, before they could become a great kingdom once again on this new world, there was work to do.
First and foremost, of course, was the creation of the place that would allow them to live up to their name. Previously, they had used the enormous tree in the center of the island they inhabited, but there was no natural place to channel their weather-altering energy here. So, they built one.
(Lore, just reposting my production card)
Once the Citadel was complete, it was finally time to learn more about their surroundings. They sent out Autumnal rangers to fully explore their territory, and venture beyond to see what, or who, else inhabited this world.
(Actual Entry)
@TimurGlint One day, a ranger brought back a man and his dinosaur steed who they caught on the Kingdom's land. The man explained that his name was Gatlah, and that he wished to establish trade relations between the Four Seasons Kingdom and his people, a group of lizard-men called the Zarildi Dominion.
Jael thought about this for a while. Finally, he said, "We have much to offer. Even beyond materials, we can send trained mages who can change the weather and seasons in a certain area, allowing you to always have the most favorable conditions for all your future endeavors. My question is this. What is your offer? I would be delighted to establish positive relations with other nations early on in our settlement of this place, but first I need to know what you will be sending my way in this trade agreement."
Alright, there we go, my entry is finally complete! Sorry it's a bit late, I nearly forgot I needed to do it today.
- Our land is rich with gold, we make the best weapons. We are on a trade route, which passes from the Talniri clan to these lands. We can provide food. And if you ask about ancient magic relics, we could provide some too.- Gallagher explained.
Soon, we shall sent personal comments to all saying where they succeeded, and where they unfortunately did not. Then we will update the map, and proceed to the first ELIMINATION CHALLENGE!
This is the map, how it has been updated over a few months of expansion. Spurned both by the wild energy of Nemain, and your industrial complexes, you push forward with... alarming speed.
Some of you who have followed previous systems may be yelling "Hero! Stop! You're going too fast! We will run out of room!"
As you may notice, room for expansion is... uh... **slim**.
Which is why, for Tuesday the 22nd, you must make us a card REPRESENTING WHERE YOU WILL GO NEXT, be that deeper into the continent, sailing out into the ocean, conquering your neighbours, or perhaps something more inventive entirely. Yes! You are allowed to start attacking your neighbours on CHALLENGE TWO!
Stay tuned for specialised feedback to each contestant helping you perform better here (Postponed until we have more cards to judge upon), as well as THE COLONISERS GUIDE TO WARFARE, 4th Edition.
"I'm serious, Sarai," Tenar said. "Why mobilize? We have scouts, knights, allies-"
"-which is exactly why I am mobilizing the forces," Sarai replied. "We have resources and allies, like you said, but I don't trust what allies we have to not make the most of what opportunities they have, and we need to use our resources to claim what we can before everything falls apart."
"And if everything falls apart before the Federation mobilizes to your liking?" Tenar asked.
Sarai smiled at her friend. "Then I'll be the first to say you were right."
Tenar sighed and rubbed her neck. "I'll hold you to that," she said, pointing at the knight. "Be sure of that."
Sarai laughed. "I'd be surprised if you didn't."
Federation forces are moving inland, with knights patrolling the borders and making sure there isn't any unknown broaching of Qathan territory. Meanwhile, Sarai and Tenar are pulling together elite forces deep within Qathan territory, though for what reason is still unclear.
The New Dromoka was boxed in. The only path to any kind of new territory is a small bottleneck, with allies on one side and enemies on the other. "We're running out of room." Said Arata, who had taken on a position of additional importance during the colinisation. "We have cities all over the place, and with reinforcements ariving so fast, they'll be built so close together that its all one city." "I understand that might be a problem, but a very minor one." said Teferi. "We must leave the desert untamed, as a sign of respect." "Of course." Teferi said. "I do have an idea. Where do you dragons live?" "In the Aeries, atop the towers. What does that have to do with this?" "We go up. You Scalelords can fly. We just need to make the towers higher. It has been done on other worlds." Of course, Teferi knew this plan was imperfect. Many of the other cities he had seen with such vertical elements had become something of an aristocracy, with people living at the top levels not noticing the plight of the people from the low levels, where not much light reaches. But he could handle that problem.
The rolling waves beat against the walls of the Nerressian city, atop the high fortifications Jemaine and Lienne stood looking over the waters. The savant broke their silence,
"My readings have divulged much, to me the nations across the waves are running out of space, some are preparing for war."
Jemaine nodded, he knew that if the other colonizers were to run out of space on the mainland they would come to the islands next,
"We'll have to fortify the coast, let no ships or soldiers through."
(The Children of Neress will begin to expand along the coast.)
Tehonapa opens the letter of one of his diggers archeologists. The letter said:
"Sir, I have discovered a new tower in the Temple. I've found some interesting hieroglyphics there. They say there's another island on the west from here. According to the text, there is a fantastically powerful artifact, but only the strongest and the nearest to nature can achieve it and handle its power. First, I thought it's just a myth until I found a map, where the island is tagged with a red cross. There's a picture of an island coming out of the water and some writings telling that this s a picture of how this artifact works. I think this is BIG and we should do something" Your loyal servant, Zargiik
Grand Archeologist wrote a back letter:
" Zargiik, you are absolutely right. I will send a letter to our chief right now. Speaking of your reward, you get 500 gold coins and a promotion. When you find out more about this, write to me momentarily.''
Soon afterward in Kamagiwik's palace:
-According to Tehonapa, we must send the strongest... That shall be Gazauhar. Call for him!!! - said Kamagiwik
-You've called me, sir. - Zarildi hero responded
-Yes, we need a man to go on an island in search of an artifact. Could you do that?

WITHOUT FURTHER ADO:
A GUIDE TO COLONISERS WARFARE!
Our story begins back in Season 1 of Colonisers, where lots of things happened. What I did was, shortly, I pretended the players were figurines, and I smacked them together. I lined people up and forced them to compete with each other directly.
***** *****
This is by far not how warfare works nowadays, and I am now going to stop talking about it.
The real fun started in Season 2, on Edgerim (which, by the way, is the most viewed and commented season thus far), where people knew what to expect from the series, and so started to bring their own roleplay to the table. And roleplay almost always leads to rivalry.
***** *****
These tensions quickly escalated when actual cards started being made.
***** *****
This banter quickly escalated to an arms race, where some players started to exchange more and more cards with aggressive intent.
***** *****
These cards began transforming into direct attacks more and more quickly.
***** *****
Eventually, one side committed fully to war.
***** *****
Now, I sat there, kicking back, enjoying the show, but I didn't do anything really to show active warfare. The only standard way to acquire territory from another nation at this point was to absorb them as they get eliminated, which is what eventually brought us from this (Yes, I know, we have come a long way in terms of production value):
Warfare didn't really become a standardized activity until Season 3. Now, the Colonising of Krystel brought lots of changes to the trends of how people roleplay their parts, which I will talk about in detail in the sappy memoirs about the history of COLONISERS that I will eventually write, but it also made warfare more dynamic. EXAMPLE:
***** *****
The Empire of Cyni had just acquired some islands, when suddenly, it found itself under attack.
***** *****
You see, the Empire of Striders had sent a "peaceful missionary cohort" and the people just so happened to "switch sides". This started a bloody trench war between the two sides.
***** *****
Eventually, the Empire of Cyni evacuated their people and sent a bunch of titans to take care of the Striders.
***** *****
The Empire of Cyni had plans to reconquer the islands, but this did not happen as they were unfortunately eliminated a few challenges after. This is what a war nowadays would look like.
Finally, before we go, an example from Season 4 to show that wars DON'T HAVE TO BE FIGHTS TO THE DEATH, even though that's the usual outcome. Here's what the map looked like:
***** *****
But then, in an arc you must definitely read if you want to learn how to win through the power of LORE POINTS, the Stargazers made their move.
***** *****
The astrals immediately reciprocated with a cloaking maneuver.
***** *****
However, after that burning exchange, @Lujikul and @ThatOneCat sat down and privately discussed the matter, and then agreed to forgive each other be allies for the rest of the game.
***** *****
One last example hails from Season 5, that shows wars do not have to be continuous.
***** *****
@SammySammyson and @DrakeGladis were having a jolly good time beating each other up (red and brown factions), but they weren't the only ones with a personal stake in the matter. See, the Banned Ones had earlier made a pact with the Citizens of Exile, a pact that @Daedalus_The_All_Father would keep.
***** *****
So the war went on, one faction versus two, and who knows what would have happened if the Banned Ones weren't eliminated next round. Seeing as their personal stake has disappeared, the Citizens of Exile immediately signed a truce with the Soulless Ones, and all was well.
***** *****
UUUUUUUNtill the two got tied up again, this time in a resource war, which lasted up until the end of the season. And all the while this was happening, @ThatOneCat was executing the Atlantropa project. (See top right corner).
***** *****
I would have also included some example from Season 6, but all the contestants turned out to be wimps (Read: Good people) and didn't fight when we smacked them against each other. But as you can already start to see, this isn't going to be an option this time around, no matter how kind and gentle you are.
If you do get around do doing the History of Colonisers, I would like to help with that. I really like the guide to warefares, but they are just history and not a real help in my efforts to eventually attack the Schwarmi Nodule.
