Thanks for the challenge, @FORFUN! I really enjoyed it and it pushed me past my making limits! Have a good day and I'll see you next time!

    @Jadefire, your ability is:

Revelation (When you cast this spell, look at the top of each player’s library. Until end of turn, you may exchange the top card of target player’s library with the top card of another player’s library.)

    @Firemind713 here is your ability:

Oblivion [Cost] ([Cost]: Counter target spell.  If it would be put in a graveyard this turn, exile it instead.)

Remember, reminder text is not required.
  • Well, might as well ask if I can participate.

Here is my first go at Oblivion. Exiling as a result of countering is something I've always thought should be in white as well as blue. Blue/white made me want a bird.
  • @MemoryHead, your ability is:

Scatter [Cost] ([Cost]: You may sacrifice a creature. If you do, create X 1/1 white Human Soldier creature tokens, where X is the converted mana cost of the sacrificed creature.)
  • I'll take one
  • @ChoyBoi, here's your mechanic:

Judgement [Cost]( [Cost]: Whenever a creature with power greater than its toughness enters the battlefield, [effect])
  • @FORFUN, how exactly does my mechanic work? I'm kinda confused.
  • edited January 2021
So, if an 8/6 creature enters the battlefield, effect.  If a 6/8 creature enters the battlefield, no effect.

@FORFUN I think you might have laid out the description for it incorrectly, then. Do you mean something like:
Judgement - Whenever a creature with power greater than its toughness enters the battlefield, you may [cost]. If you do, [effect].
    Or perhaps:
Judgement - [Cost]: [Effect] (Activate this ability only if a creature with power greater than its toughness entered the battlefield this turn.)
Obviously it's your mechanic and you're the one who actually knows what it does, but those are guesses at a potential "corrected" layout for it.
  • Kabiri Guardian

My second entry for the protector keyword
  • Oh sorry!  @MemoryHead was right. @ChoyBoi, use @MemoryHead's first wording.

Entry 1 for Revelation (When you cast this spell, look at the top card of each player’s library. Until end of turn, you may exchange the top card of target player’s library with the top card of another player’s library.)

About as basic as it gets.  You take the best card and hope to leave them with a land 4 out of 5 times unless you're trying to burn them out.  The mana cost isn't higher despite the high ceiling for powerful plays because it's also possible to completely whiff.

  • I will participate as well!
  • Here is your mechanic @FireKing661:

Miniscule (This permanent cannot be the target of spells with converted mana cost 4 or greater.)

Entry 2 for Revelation (When you cast this spell, look at the top card of each player’s library. Until end of turn, you may exchange the top card of target player’s library with the top card of another player’s library.)

Fun with politics in a multiplayer game.  The wording requires different targets so there's no dogpiling all the damage onto one player.  There wasn't enough room to include the "This effect lasts indefinitely" reminder at the end but the change of control is permanent.  The giving of the creature to the player who did the least (or zero) damage reflects red's chaotic nature and makes for interesting play decisions.  The best case scenario would be a tie in CMC among all revealed cards.  At least the amount of damage being dealt is known before targeting happens, unlike Erratic Explosion.

Entry 3 for Revelation (When you cast this spell, look at the top card of each player’s library. Until end of turn, you may exchange the top card of target player’s library with the top card of another player’s library.)

A walking Counterspell that gets more effective the more players there are in the game.  It's also a reusable pseudo-counter for draw spells even if you don't get a hit from the top of your library.  Resourceful players will cast their instants with this on their opponents' upkeeps and take the non-counter option to repeatedly lock them out of drawing cards.

Entry 4 for Revelation (When you cast this spell, look at the top card of each player’s library. Until end of turn, you may exchange the top card of target player’s library with the top card of another player’s library.)

The goal was to make a Pox-type effect but to have some degree of control over what was sacrificed.  The ability to hit artifacts and enchantments with this card is offset by the higher black mana requirement.  Originally, the card could also hit lands but a double Stone Rain was too oppressive at 4 mana so the diminishing ability to reuse the card was added in case a land is encountered.

  • Gimme one and a ping

  • Are we allowed more than one mechanic, @FORFUN?
  • @DrakeGladis, your ability is:

Petrify(At the beginning of your upkeep, put a stone counter on target creature. Then, if a creature has three or more stone counters on it, destroy it and put a 1/1 colorless Statue artifact creature token with defender onto the battlefield under the destroyed creature's owner's control.)

Remember, this is a particularly long ability, so no reminder text needed.

Also, @TheDukeOfPork, sorry, but you may only have 1 mechanic.

Entry 5 for Revelation (When you cast this spell, look at the top card of each player’s library. Until end of turn, you may exchange the top card of target player’s library with the top card of another player’s library.)

Taking a hard left with the Revelation mechanic on this one.  The specific cards revealed don't actually matter (unless you want to get rid of your opponent's next draw), it's simply whether someone has another person's card on top of their library.  Playing the card early is incentivized by the free surveil every turn as well as the ability to heavily tax tutoring for your opponents.  The card name is a nod to the title and theme of the movie Inception.
