@Commando, but isn't having all your lands phase out on your upkeep a huge downside? Cause then you can't play anything.

Also, I believe Scryfall syntax supports a much simpler query:
"t:legendary t:creature date<=8ED"
This will also pull in creatures from Portal Three Kingdoms and Unglued.
