Just for Fun Idea - Network sets
HI there, just thought of this.
I spend most of my time her making cards, not looking at those of others. But every now and then I do check out other profiles. Sometimes, I find a set that is related to mine somehow. I noticed we can comment on sets and decided to do to the head page of one of my sets and link those sets.
Obviously this applies to the main MTG settings
But it also applies the themes.
As an example, a few years ago I did a sort Babylonia set. Whit the idea of the world being ancient and connected by gates to 5 other worlds. One of the reasons I had the other planes in was good art was hard to find. A bit ago noticed Rayne-Lord had an entire Persian set. So I've linked them in my comments.
Anyone liking my https://mtgcardsmith.com/user/mmm3creator/sets/39955
Might like his https://mtgcardsmith.com/user/Rayne-Lord/sets/53134
and vice versa.
Similarly, I'm starting a Hyborean / Pre-Deluvian age set :https://mtgcardsmith.com/user/mmm3creator2/sets/58858
He has in interesting Paleolithic set: https://mtgcardsmith.com/user/Rayne-Lord/sets/58733
And one sent in a fictional area that is a fantasy chronological contemporary with a very interesting core idea it will take you like half a second to notice: https://mtgcardsmith.com/user/Rayne-Lord/sets/58733
From now on, when I do check out profiles and find groups related to mine 'm going to start to do put linked comments on my set's first page. I might be neat for other people to link sets by other they think are related to theirs. It helps anyone who is just interested in looking for a certain type of set, at a particular MTG plane, or who has ideas but is stumped on appropriate art.
