Time for A Lesson! **Circuit Challenge**
I'm sure most of you have seen the upcoming Strixhaven set previews. If you haven't, I'm going to include a link here.
Strixhaven Previews
They've released a new mechanic, which is Learn.
Learn (You may reveal a Lesson card you own from outside the game and put it into your hand, or discard a card to draw a card.)
This is what a lesson looks like:
My challenge for you is to create a card that can learn, and the lesson that the card would retrieve. I'm looking for a flavorful correlation between the two. For instance, I would expect a professor of water magic to fetch a water magic lesson, not a fire magic lesson.
This contest will end on April 24th.
Prizes:
1st: 5 favorites and a follow! + 1 Circuit Point
2nd: 4 favorites + 3/4 Circuit Point
3rd: 3 favorites + 1/2 Circuit Point
HM: 1 favorite + 1/4 Circuit Point

The colors don't quite match up, but I felt that 'portents', as Kargad's expertise is, aren't stuck to one color.
Second, cool idea.
Third, here are my entries:
Card With Learn Mechanic:
Lesson Card:
Notes:
I believe the synergy works, as both cards benefit you on having a high (or at least not low) life total. I feel life is a partially common theme in Silverquill, and I should probably post now.

Let me know if I could improve on anything!
- When it comes to numbers, you always have to write out the number unless you are listing damage, power and toughness, a variable on a keyword (ex: scry 2), or the mana value of a card. So it would be "Return up to four target creature cards from your graveyard to your hand, then shuffle your graveyard into your library."
- When you use hybrid mana, it looks best when you use the hybrid mana card frame.
- When a card is an important character, such as Chandra or Avacyn, the card has the legendary supertype. Legendary creatures also have a special attribute on their card frame where they have a little crown thing at the top. So Adora would look like this, but with the image, text, etc.
-The text of the first and second abilities should be spaced out so that there's a blank line between them. This just makes it clear where the text on one ability starts, and where it ends.
- When something refers to a card type outside of the stack or battlefield, it always says "[type] card", so it would be "Return target creature card", not "Return target creature".
I also think that both cards are way too overpowered. Here's some suggestions on how to balance it out at least a little (To be honest, I don't even know if my suggestions would make it completely balanced, but it should at least be helpful).
-When red cards steal a creature, they usually say "gain control of target creature until end of turn. Untap that creature. It gains haste until end of turn". With the way it's worded now, you are taking hostage of your opponent's creatures for their turn too. In addition, red steal effects are usually around 3 mana for stealing one creature. I'd say that this should only be able to steal 1 creature.
- The power and toughness on Adora is a bit much. When it enters the battlefield, you'll usually steal their biggest creatures, which gives you a lot of power for four mana. I think that this would be better if it was a 3/3 or less.
- Adora can keep bringing herself back in addition to two other creature cards. I feel like this is a bit much. I don't think Adora should be able to bring herself back, as the steal ability is fairly strong with a self-recurring creature. Even returning two other creature cards to your hand is still a bit too much in my opinion. I think returning one other creature card would make it much more balanced.
- I think the triggered ability could have some little more of a cost, such as sacrificing another creature, but other than that the only problem here is that there needs to be a period after "learn".
- On the lesson card, returning four creature cards for four mana is a lot. I think that returning two creature cards will make it much better.
Last thing, I believe the artist of the art on the lesson card is ChrisCold.

I generally like Lorehold as a house. The improvements they've made to W/R? Exquisite.

The flavor text isn't the best, but I think it gets the idea through.
