This is an organized list of those mechanics. These mechanics are open source. We only ask that you give credit to the creators of the mechanic in the comments below your card, in exchange for making them available for everyone to use.
Enters The Battlefield Mechanics
(land type) Voice - liftinggravity - (land type) Voice - Whenever a (land type) enters the battlefield, (positive effect).
Ambush {cost}- Rekasorus Rex - Ambush {cost} (You may cast this card for its ambush cost and as though it had flash as long as a creature is attacking you. If you do, it enters the battlefield blocking that creature.)
Archery X - Charging Badger - Archery X (This permanent enters the battlefield with X arrow counters on it.)
Clockwork X - DeepSky - Clockwork X (This permanent enters the battlefield with X clockwork counters on it. At the beginning of your upkeep, remove a clockwork counter from it. If you can't, it loses all abilities, and it can't attack or block.)
Companionship - RekasorusRex - Companionship {cost} (Whenever another creature enters the battlefield under your control, you may pay {cost}. If you do, put a +1/+1 counter on that creature, and a +1/+1 counter on this creature.)
Entangle X - liftinggravity - Entangle X (When this creature enters the battlefield, you may cast up to X sorceries from your hand without paying their mana costs, where X is this creature's converted mana cost.)
Genepool - Beeswax - Genepool (This card enters the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter on it for each creature type it shares with a creature you control.)
Imperfect (creature type) - liftinggravity - Imperfect (creature type) (When a non-Mutant, non-Horror (creature type) creature enters the battlefield, sacrifice this creature. If the creature enters the battlefield under an opponent's control, exile this creature instead.)
Lurk - ImBadAtBalancing - Lurk - When {card} enters the battlefield, you may have this creature enter the battlefield tapped with "Untap this creature when {Action By Another Player Occurs}."
Pain - JaceNalaar - Pain (When this creature enters the battlefield, you may deal 2 damage to yourself. If you do, {Effect}.)
Parasitism - liftinggravity - Parasitism (When this creature enters the battlefield, exile a creature from your hand if this was it from your hand. When this creature leaves the battlefield, put X copies of it on the battlefield, where X is the toughness of exiled creature.)
Practice - Tomigon - Practice (Whenever a creature enters the battlefield, if this creature is untapped, you may tap this creature and put a +1/+1 counter on this creature.)
Ranger - Tomigon - Ranger (Whenever a nontoken creature enters the battlefield, at the beginning of your next main phase, add {g} to your mana pool.) (GREEN MECHANIC)
Timer X - liftinggravity - Timer X (This (permanent type) enters the battlefield with X fuse counters on it. At the beginning of your upkeep, remove a fuse counter from this (permanent type) and lose X life, where X is the number of fuse counters on this (permanent type)
Timer would be accompanied by a "When this (permanent type) has no fuse counters on it, (large effect)."
Warlike - michaelmvm - Warlike (When (cardname) enters the battlefield, if an opponent was dealt 6 or more damage this turn, (effect). (RED/GREEN MECHANIC)

Comments
Typically paired with an effect that has a benefit/downside depending if the creature is tapped or untapped. This will be a part of my entry to the contest!
Painborn N(When this creature enters the battlefield, you may put up to N +1/-1 counters on it.)
Astral Projection (You may have this creature enter the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it. If you do, its a spirit in addition to its other types, and it has flying. )
"Creature type"-Slayer N(When this creature enters the battlefield, if an opponent controls a "Creature type", put N +1/+1 counters on this creature.)
